My heart stopped as I took my last breath of being a typical kid, no sickness, no wires, no open heart surgery, the last thing that I remember is the soft, kind and caring touch of my mothers hand checking to see if I still had a pulse, if they didn't go sober 1 month ago I would not have been here where I am today. I remember hearing the ambulance sirens wail and scream, they put some sort of mask, oxygen mask on my mouth, the pain ached in my bones as a tear softly trickled down my face, saying goodbye to the world, I slowly closed my eyes as I was put to sleep - For a month.
