Why?
Aria is a simple teenager. Shes just getting into her junior year when the country was attacked. Russia got into a dispute with our government and things escalated quickly. They were planning to kill everyone in the U.S. if the government didn't comply. The government wasn't telling anyone anything not what they did or why they did it. Aria is separated from her family with her siblings when soldiers come and take her and her family into custody. She knows that if they don't escape they'll be tortured and murdered along with all the other people in this country and all she can say is why? Why us? Why now? Why? Along the way she realizes her and her sister are not the only ones trying to escape...
