Five-year-old Sofia and her six month old brother Giovanni are left out...
Sofia POV Hi my name is Sophia I'm five years old I have a little brother named Giovanni he's six months old. We live with our mom in Dallas Texas, but mommy is acting weird she seems like she doesn't want us anymore she leaves us in the house all day she says she's at work but I don't believe her. Some nights it's scary but I know I have to be strong for Giovanni, mommy says Giovanni and me are going to go somewhere you were going to be happy but I look at her strange I'm already happy. Mommy say I'm to smart for my age *(Flashback) One day I was sitting in the living room playing with my Barbies while Giovanni was taking his nap. Mommy walked in and asked where he was I said taking his nap she told me to run to my room and pack a few clothes and two of my toys I look at her and ask her why?she says we're going on a trip. I smile at her and went to my room I packed my favorite purple dress my white Converse my favorite frozen nightgown with anna on it and some black shorts with blue shirts. Lastly I packed my Ipad and my Olaf snowman once I got done I rushed back down stairs to mommy. I see she woke Giovanni up and has him in his little black and red car seat and his baby bag on her side, I hesitated I wanted to ask her why did she wake him up but I decided not to is instead I ran to the window and watched as the rain started to come down I turn towards money and I asked why we leaving while it's raining she say we will be fine and just for me to grab my umbrella and jacket and go to the car. I have always love the rain but for some reason I had a bad feeling about today and about why mommy say we were leaving and going on a trip. I may be five but I am not stupid I know something is up, but I didn't know what so I opened my umbrella and ran to the car. Mommy came rushing out the house with Giovanni after she strapped him in. Mommy started driving I felt my eyes get heavy but I want to stay up but I ended up falling asleep. *Nee Naa Nee Naa* I jumped up I see I'm in a bed I looked around I'm scared I don't know where mommy is, I see Giovanni and our bags *Nee Naa Nee Naa* I slowly get up from the bed and walk to the sound I see a big red firetruck I look around and saw a big man in a yellow and red suit I slowly walk towards him as I get close to him I look up at him S- Sofia ?- firefighter S- Hi ?-Hi little one I see you finally woke up my name is Mike S- where are we why am I here? M- well little lady your and your little brother were left out in front of the station S- I'm scared I want my mommy M- I'm sorry but when parents leave their babies or their children here or at a hospital they usual are giving them up S- I don't understand mommy loves me and Giovanni why would she leave us? M- mommy's and daddy's may not be able afford to care for you S- *starts crying* I want my mommy M-hey hey how about we go get your brother and get something to eat I hope mommy comes back 😿😿
