The next morning, the girls got up and ate breakfast together. The made some eggs and bacon and sat down and talked as they enjoyed their food. Of course, because of last nights talk, the girls now knew about Lucy's...well they weren't sure what it was, but they hoped that a spark would fly between the two. They helped her get ready and chose out outfits Lucy could wear. Erza wanted her to wear something completely open and totally slutty. Lucy wasn't surprised because she always chose the same outfit as if one day she would change her mind. Juvia showed her a short dress and some flats, but today was going to be cold so Lucy had to reject. Then Levy, being the fashionista she was, pulled out the perfect outfit for some coffee and lunch. The outfit was a navy blue V-neck, some jeans, a light brown coat, and some booties. Lucy agreed with the combination and went to the restroom to change. Outside, the girls couldn't stop talking about the dreamy guy that Lucy was about to go to lunch with.

When the blonde came out of the restroom in her outfit, she gave a twirl and smiled.

"How do I look?"

"You look beautiful!" said Levy.

"You ready?"

"...Yes..."

"Woo! Let's go!"

The four girls went outside and drove Lucy to the Café. "Good luck!" they screamed. "Tell us how it goes!" screamed Juvia as they left. Lucy turned back and smiled. She went into the warm place confident and ready to tell this guy that she wasn't ready to begin another relationship. Yes, she had lied to her friends, but it was her choice and she was determined. As she walked in, she saw him sitting down on a table, waiting for her arrival.

He turned to the door and saw her standing there looking around. He got up and walked towards her as she looked at him.

"Hi" he said looking down at her with a grin.

"Hi" she said, inhaling and exhaling. He held out his hand motioning to the table. She walked over to where he sat, him behind her looking at her ass. She didn't know but if she did, she would have slapped him. He pulled out her chair like a gentleman. He made her feel tingly, special, different. The ordered their food and talked. After a while, came up the conversation about family, one that neither one of them liked talking about, but Lucy was curious.

"So, tell me about your family" she said taking a sip of her coffee.

"Well, there isn't much to tell."

"Do you have any siblings?"

"A brother. We're not close."

"Ohh I see. How about your parents. What do they do?"

"They, um, passed away."

"Ohh, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked that."

"What about yours?"

"We were on a road trip. I didn't know where we were headed. When we crossed a bridge, the car slid and we fell into the lake. I made it but they didn't. After a while I decided, it was time to let go. It was hard. It still is. I'm trying my best, but it's not easy."

Natsu held Lucy's hand on the table and looked her in the eyes.

"You wont be sad forever, Lucy."

"What makes you think I'm sad?"

"I can see it in your eyes. You can deny it as much as you want, but it's true."

She smiled. He smiled.

"Ugh. I'm sorry. Here I am, burdening you with my past."

"It's fine. I'm glad you told me."

"So. Your friends told me you had a date. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I'm sorry Aunt Aquarius. I forgot."

"Mmhmm. Well at least tell me how it went."

"Good. It was good."

With that, Lucy walked upstairs to her room, leaving Aquarious with a smile. For some reason, she knew this guy could change her niece. Make her happy again.

Later that day, Lucy went grocery shopping. On her way back home, she bumped into a very drunk Gajeel.

"Gajeel...are you drunk?" she asked angrily.

"Uuhhh...no I don't think so."

"Ohh my god."

She pulled him by the collar and dragged him back home. She was so pissed but she couldn't do what she wanted in public. The walk would calm her down a bit. Enough to not kill him. As they walked into the house, Aquarius peeked from the kitchen.

"Is everything okay?"

"What do you think?"

Lucy pulled Gajeel upstairs and into his room. She threw him on the bed and stared at him.

"What the hell, Gajeel! What is wrong with you!?"

"I'm only drunk, calm down."

"How can I calm down when being drunk is everyday for you?! How can I calm down if you're always getting high with your stoner friends?!Look, Gajeel, I might have let you do this, but im done letting you ruin your life. I know our parents died and I know its hard but this needs to stop! You need to let go!"

"Says the girl who spends her time in the cemetery."

"What? How do you know that?"

"Because I go there too. And when I walk by, I see you there. So don't give me all this B.S. about letting go."

He got up and locked himself in the restroom. Lucy stood there with her head down, thinking about how much sense her drunk brother made. He was right. She wasn't letting go. She was holding on.

The next day, she met up with her friends and told them everything about how the date had gone.

"So what will you do now?"

"I don't know"

"Ohh come on, it's so simple! You like him, he likes you" said Erza trying to convince Lucy on giving Natsu a chance.

"Yeah, besides, you have to try"said Juvia.

Lucy sat there, then nodded and got up.

"Where you going?" asked Levy.

"I'm gonna try."

"Yay" clapped Erza.

As Lucy walked to the Dragneel mansion, she had the feeling someone was staring at her. She turned around, but nothing looked out of the ordinary, so she kept walking.

He knew it was wrong to "stalk" people, but looking at her just made him want to bite her. The lust was uncontrollable. All he wanted to do, was rip her out of her clothes and do things to her. That was also wrong, but he didn't care. He never did, about anything. He was the impulsive type. A "Bad Boy". He ran back home with his "super" speed since he heard the conversation Lucy earlier had with her friends. He couldn't wait to see her again. This was a chance for him. If he could convince her.
