Chapter 14

Oki's Pov

Three days later

I swung down from the top of the window. I knocked on the glass lightly. The window opened,"Hey sis." Mark welcomed. "Sup." I jumped in and shifted from a cat into me. "Cool place...should totally spend my birthday here. Oh that reminds me it's tommorrow! I hope Raph rembered..." I murmered that last part to myself. "Oh yeah your birthday! Come with me!" Mark grabbed me and we walked to the store brother and sister reunited and already having fun,"You can get anything you want." Mark said. "Awesome! Your the best." I started to browse the store as Mark followed. I walked to the building section,"What would you build?" Mark asked. I shrugged, "I just like to build." I looked at the wood none of my liking. We walked to the clothes and I found a shirt that said Loner across the chest. I grabbed it and held it up to me,"You like it?" I asked Mark. "Nice shirt." Mark said. We walked to the checkout to buy it.

After buying the shirt I led Mark to a build site. Going towards the dumpster we were stopped by a worker,"What are you doing here?" "It's for a school project and we're to poor to buy wood so we came here." I lied. "Go ahead." The worker whisked us away. I jumped into the dumpster,"My classic sister." Mark smirked and joined me. I found a good palet of wood and dragged it over the edge. It fell with a thud. I grabbed another peice of wood with a block,"That should be good." I declared and dragged it to an alley that I knew had a sewer opening. Mark carried the rest and we dropped it down. Climbing down followed by Mark I started dragging the wood palet towards the lair. He picked up the palet from me and handed me the block. I led him through the sewers to the lair.

Once there I set the wood infront of my nook, "What's that for Oki?" Donnie asked across the room. "For a project. I think I'm gonna build a little hangout for me above my nook. Can I have some tools?" "Sure." He said. I walked over to the lab and Mark followed. I found a drill some screws and a chisel and hammer. Bringing the supplies back to my supplies I started to drill holes where connections would be made for it to be held up. I started to screw in the wood to make two walls and a base. I then started to chisel out a small bookshelf out of the block. I turned into a bird dragon thing and hooked it up to the wall above my nook. I completed it by setting down the block shelf in the corner. I flew down and turned into me,"So what do you think?" Mark watched me patiently the whole time,"It's awesome!" Donnie walked over to my nook,"That's so cool." He said with approval. "A few more things added and it will be the best hangout ever! I'm thinking of finding a small beanbag to sit in the corner and maybe even a perch. It would be cool if I could do a workout system up there." I planned. "Wait I know the perfect things to use." Mark exclaimed. "What?" Me and Donnie asked. "For a perch that could be a pull up bar too. And for the beanbag we could make it by taking two beanie babies and using the beads to make a comfortable beanbag." Mark grinned. "Perfect!" I said excited, "We can do that as a project together later sometime."

That night I slept up in the hangout. It was fun being a bird dragon thing,"Oki?" Raph called. I draped my sleepy orange feathered head over the edge,"Yup?" "I.. I couldn't sleep." He said. I snickered silently,"And whys that big boy?" "I don't know." Raph said. I jumped down on his shoulder and my shoulder hurt a tiny bit. It was mostly healed but it still ached a tiny bit from building the hangout,"Well if it helps I can sleep in your room tonight." I yawned. "Sounds good." Raph said.

Settling into his hammock in bird dragon form I heard his steady and quiet breathing. I drifted into sleep too my quiet breaths drifting in sync with Raph's.

Waking to the sound of a clutter outside I woke up Raph,"Raphie wake up." I murmered in his ear. We both went outside to see what the noise was. Mikey was standing infront of my nook something wooden at his feet,"Mikey! What did you do!" I screeched and flew to my hangout looking at it's broken form. "I'm so sorry Oki." He said,"I can help you make a new one." I sat there and found the bookshelf intact,"Well at least that wasn't broken. Fine you can help by go asking Don if he has the right peices. And for the tools I used yesterday." Mikey came back with the peices I shifted human and I started to work on rebuilding it. Then all of them including April and Mark jumped out and said,"Happy Birthday Oki!" I then remembered it was my birthday,"Omigosh you guys remembered!" I smiled so big it hurt. I gave evreyone a group hug. "Let's get this party started!" Mikey shouted.

Everyone left except April and we walked to the kitchen,"So we are going to make you a cake or brownies. Whichever you prefer." She held up both boxes. "Brownies." I said swiping the box away from her. I started to grab everything we needed: Pan, spatula, measuring cups, eggs, vegtable oil, and a bowl to mix it in. I poured in the mix and cracked the eggs into it. I measured water and vegtable oil in. I started to stir with the spatula. April took it from me and started to stir. Once it was done we poured it in tge pan but left enough mix for me and her to share. Licking the chocolate off the spatula I put in the brownies for 10 minutes. Until they were done me and April ate the leftover mix in the bowl. The timer dinged and I took them out. Then taking some powdered sugar I sprinkled it over the brownies,"Well there done but they need to cool."

I walked over to the pit and there the guys were playing Xbox Minecraft,"Hey that's my game remember!" "Oh no she got us man." Mikey said to Mark. Raph and Donnie looked up at me,"Why uh hello." "Scoot your boot." I said to Raph and I flipped onto the couch. Grabbing my controller I changed the game to Left 4 Dead 2,"It's my birthday. I choose Bill. Raph be Louis and Mark you be Francis." We started the game first level, first map. Halfway through the level,"Guys shhh I think I hear a witch. Turn off your flashlights." I whispered. We all heard the witch,"Where the shell could she be?" Raph asked and not a second to soon. He almost stepped on the witch and startled her,"Gah!" I start shooting the witch in the head. Witch goes down and Raph gets up. Finishing the game an hour later I put my hands up in victory,"Well the games done what do we do?" Mikey asked. "What time is it?" I said. "Adventure time?" Mark said jokingly,"It's 12:30 why?" "I'm waiting till midnight to watch some scary movies." I simply shrugged.

Raph and April brought in presents followed by Leo with his hands behind his back hiding something. Leo sat down his hands still behind his back while Raph and April put the presents infront of me,"You guys shouldn't have." I joked. I started to unwrap Raph's first. Inside there's a set of work out CDs,"Thanks Raph." He just blushes and scratches the back of his head . Next I open Mikey's and what do you know it's Black Ops and Mw3,"How did you know I needed more games?" I asked Mikey with sarcasim in my voice. "Well I noticed you've completed every game we have." He shrugged. We all laughed. I opened up Donnie's and inside is parts for a new ipod just like my old one including the memory chip,"Donnie I forgot about that. Thanks for the parts! We should assemble it when I'm bored and you aren't doing anything fun either." "It's nothing really." Donnie shrugged. I gave him a really glare and Raph snickered. April handed me a small wrapped box and inside was a mini copy of my faveorite books Warriors and a few little notebooks to write my own in,"Thanks April." I gave her a hug. Leo got up,"Close your eyes." I closed them. "Hold out your hands." I held out my hands. Something fluffy was set in my hands,"You can look now." I opened my eyes and in my hand was a small pup "Aweh! She's so cute and mini." "I found it in tossed away unwanted in the alley. I took her in and kept her a secret until your birthday came." It nuzzled my cheek. I set it on the floor and shifted into a cat. It hobbled towards me and sat at my paws. I licked it's small head.

It was finally midnight. I gathered Raph, Mark, Donnie, and Leo to watch with me The Purge then after Finding Bigfoot. April joined us right when it was about to begin. During The Purge I scooted by Raph and held on to his arm. He put his arm around my shoulders and hugged me close. After The Purge I put on my months worth of Finding Bigfoot. Something to creep them all out. Donnie eventually left towards the lab. I kept my eyes glued to the screen. Eventually when there was three episodes left Mark an Raph were the only ones who stayed.

Walking to my room I heard a ruckis in the lab. Walking to look in I saw Donnie picking up a tool he dropped. I looked to the table and there was an almost finished hangout. Donnie must've left to rebuild it in secret,"Hey." I said walking into the lab. "Oh hi." Donnie said turning to me,"Well your other present is spoiled now. I was fixin' it." "Thanks." I said inspecting it,"It's perfect! But I think you should get some sleep." I walked out. I heard Donnie sigh then he walked out after me and walked to his room. I shifted into a cat and jumped in my room. Curling up I thought of the fun day I had. I dozed off a few minutes later.
