I smiled faintly as I woke up to the smoky smell and sizzling sound of cooking bacon. Then I opened my eyes in confusion, was Harry cooking? I sighed in exhaustion. I wasnt sure if I could deal with him right now. The memories from the night before came flooding into my mind as I became more and more awake. I slowly pushed back the covers and slipped on some socks as I made my way out into the kitchen to face him.

There he was, with his crazy bed head and clothes from last night still on. I went and stood beside him, making him notice I was there.

"Good morning beautiful." He greeted me with a small smile.

I didn't return the smile as I looked up at him, "Is this your attempt at an apology?" I asked as he plated the bacon and began cracking some eggs.

He looked at me and replied, "I know it's a terrible cliche apology, but I know you like cheesy romantic stuff." He said quietly, looking into my eyes.

A hint of a smile played on my lips. I closed my eyes and looked down, unsure of what to say. I just wish it could stay like this. With him here, being sweet and kind, I didn't have to worry about what was going on. I didn't have to wonder if the next news story would be my boyfriend finally getting caught. i didnt have to wonder if the knock on my door was the police finally asking questions.

I took my hands and wrapped them around his torso and leaned my head on his chest. He rested his head on the top of mine and wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me close. He then bent his head down to my neck and kissed it, then whispered in my ear, "I'm so sorry. For everything I put you through." I closed my eyes and nodded. I knew he was. But... I didn't know how much longer I could take it.

I shivered in the cold and snuggled my head closer into Harrys chest as we both gazed up at the dark sky, watching the snowflakes fall. His beanie was pulled on over his ears and my hood was pulled up keeping me warm.

With Harry's arm around my waist and my arms around his torso we silently watched as each delicate shape fell, each one unique and beautiful. I could feel his steady breathing and heartbeat beneath my arms.

I shifted my gaze from the heavens to his face, and the sight was even more beautiful. The snowflakes stuck to his eyelashes and to the ends of curls that stuck out of his beanie. I could see the moonlight reflected in his eyes as they watched the snow fall.

He must have noticed me watching him and he turned his face towards me. His eyes met mine and I felt butterflies. All the fights, hurtful words, and tearful nights almost were forgotten as I looked at him.

Yeah, almost.

I just couldn't figure out if he was only hurting me slowly...or if he really was my missing piece. The corner of his mouth twisted up in a smile as he looked at me and I couldn't stop myself before I returned the act. He rubbed my back as he looked back to the sky. I let out a breath I realized I had been holding. It was just too hard to tell if this is really all worth it...
