"Happy Birthday Miss Sophie!" Emma swept down and planted a kiss on the one year old's head, being careful to avoid the cake icing that she was covered in.
"Look Soph! Auntie Em has presents." Mary Margaret followed behind Emma, arms full with perfectly wrapped presents curtesy of Emma.
"You didn't have to." David rolled his eyes and turned to face them, wiping his hands on the tea towel as he finished washing the dishes. He jumped around the table and was by his wife's side in an instant, taking the presents off her and putting them on the countertop.
"Anything I can do?" Emma looked around the room and noticed the pink streamers, balloon mountains and open back door that lead to the bouncy castle in their garden.
"We're all set! Everyone is arriving in 20 minutes." Mary Margaret grinned, expertly using baby wipes to clean up Sophie before handing her over to Emma. Emma immediately smothered her in kisses, causing the baby to giggle.
"Calm it Swan, her party hasn't even started yet." At the sound of his voice, Emma rolled her eyes. She felt immediately betrayed when Sophie caught sight of him in the doorway and held out her arms.
"Don't worry Princess Sophie, Uncle Killian will save you." Killian swooped into the room and lifted the baby into his own arms, spinning her around and causing her to shriek.
"Be careful, she's just.." Emma trailed off, she didn't need to speak anymore. Killian's shirt was covered in Sophie's earlier cupcake, and he immediately held her out at arms length. Mary Margaret rushed to get her changed and party appropriate once again, while Emma tried not to laugh.
"Ems, can you finish the drinks? I'll get Killian a new shirt." David rushed off after his wife up the stairs, while Killian stood very red faced and holding his shirt out to stop it sticking to him.
"Wipe the grin off, will ya?" Emma hummed quietly, completely ignoring Killian as she tipped ice into jugs of fruit juice. If anyone asked, Emma definitely wasn't looking when Killian peeled his shirt off. Her eyes definitely didn't linger over his abs, her cheeks definitely didn't turn a shade of pink, definitely not. The doorbell went and Emma welcomed the distraction, practically running to the door and leaving Killian alone in the kitchen.
"David, Mary Margaret- party time!" The guests were early, but Roland ran straight past her and out the back door.
"Sorry about him, no manners." Robin greeted Emma before following his son outside to make sure he stayed out of trouble.
"We're working on it." Regina grinned and kissed Emma on the cheek, rubbing her baby bump and heading into the kitchen. David and Mary Margaret bounded down the stairs, Sophie all cleaned up and a new shirt in hand for Killian.
"Let's get this party started!" David waved his hands around and started up the music, joining Roland on the bouncy castle after handing Killian a shirt. Emma became designated door opener, welcoming all the guests and allowing Mary Margaret to mingle and show off her daughter. By the time the last guest had arrived, Belle and Gold running late and blaming Colette and her teething, she had Zelena's daughter Cora on her hip and Jefferson's daughter Grace clinging to her leg. When Sophie caught sight of her, she started kicking out her legs and bouncing in her fathers arm.
"One minute little miss. Let me find this ones mother and I'll take you onto the castle, I promise." She gently tickled her stomach before finding Zelena and handing Cora over. She took hold of Sophie immediately, allowing Grace to take hold of her spare hand and lead her out onto the bouncy castle.
"Swan, what a pleasant surprise." Killian had hold of Roland, gripping his stomach and flipping him over. A few other boys lined up behind him, wanting the same treatment. Emma smiled softly and settled on the edge, holding Sophie up and letting the baby bounce.
"You're like the Pied Piper!" Emma called out, letting her eyes lock with his for a moment before quickly looking away.
"Not so bad yourself." He hurled back, Sophie laughing loudly in her arms whilst Grace played with her hair.

"Right, Killian, get in. Put your arm around her." Mary Margaret rolled her eyes, pointing the camera at the couple. Emma held Sophie in between them, trying not to let her grin fade when she felt Killian's arm around her waist.
"Perfect!" Mary Margaret was practically gleeful as she called out for Regina and Robin to have their photo, she wanted to make sure she had enough memories of Sophie's first birthday party. Emma immediately picked up a bin bag and started clearing away paper plates and plastic cups.
"I'll be off then!" Killian picked up his bike helmet from the table and advanced towards the door, avoiding Emma's look of disbelief.
"You're leaving this mess to us?" Killian shrugged and dropped a kiss to Sophie's head.
"Sorry, hot date." He shot her a wink before waving goodbye and shutting the door behind him.
"Dickhead." Emma grumbled quietly, throwing more plates and half eaten cakes into the bag she was holding.
"One day, you'll realise you're meant for each other." Ruby slid past her, throwing her own cup into Emma's bin and picking up her bag.
"What are you on about Rubes?" Emma leant down to kiss Eliza on the cheek, her brunette locks identical to those of her mother's.
"You and Killian, you're soul mates. And I can't wait for you to realise it." Emma rolled her eyes, not again!
Mary Margaret had set her and Killian up on a date just before she married David, trying to set the best man and maid of honour up together. It had been a disaster. Killian had turned up late for a start, zooming straight up to Emma on his motorbike and simply handing her a helmet. She accepted, and was about to climb behind him when his phone rang. She gestured for him to answer it, but not before she caught sight of the name that was calling. Emma rolled her eyes and took off the helmet, heels clicking loudly behind her as she walked back into her flat.
"Swan? Where are you going?" Killian chased after her, phone call discarded as he pulled on her arm.
"My name is Emma. Have a good night with Becky Big Tits." And with that, she turned on her heels and walked away.
