Impossible!

"I bet my brother likes you."

She whispered as I froze in surprisement.

Hi, my name's Laila. I'm a Xth (you decide hehe) grader who is just your normal girl who watches anime that isn't suited for her age. (Maybe even reads Yaoi, lol) My life was normal not until my classmate, Jade, told me about her brother liking me during class.

"What?" I said in confusement. "Like someone would even like me." 

"Nooo," She said. "Whenever I mention you or something, he reacts and all." 

"He even saw your face already—via Facebook." She replied.

Even though she kept saying those things, I still didn't believe her. Like someone would even like me! I'm just your typical girl who is stupid and all, with no attractive appearance at all.

The next day, it was recess, and my classmates, asked me who was my crush. 

"No one," I replied, telling the truth. 

"Weh, You have!" Cried out my classmate.

"Huh? I thought it was Daniel?"  Julie asked, my classmate ever since kindergarten. "Didn't you like him?" 

"No," I replied. "I never did. He was only my classmate who I always saw with his huge smile with braces." 

As I got home, I went straight to bed and thought about the thing Jade told me.

"I bet my brother likes you."

Heck no.

No way.

I quickly fell asleep— peacefully, not thinking about the thing again.
