Discretion

My personal testimony:

I'm "Discretion".
That name was given to me by my Best Friend.

It came from the book of Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan.

I recommend that you read that book for you to discover why. :)

Anyway, I want to share my personal testimony on how I came to know Christ.

I don't belong in a christian family but I grew up attending Sunday School since I was 3rd grader. I have my siblings with me in the church but later on they quitted.
And, it's normal because they found it boring so I was left alone.
Sometimes, I wonder why but then I realized that I should be thankful that I did not quit.

Don't get me wrong, it's not because that church or religion can give me assurance of salvation.
They're just God's instrument

After 5 years of attending church, I encountered the Lord in a Vacation Bible School.

I was 12 years old then, It took me five years to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. It may surprise other people but it's the grace of God that can save a person from his sins.

Even though I already have the knowledge on the way of salvation, the Holy Spirit was absence that's why even I'm already fed u with Bible stories verses, and preachings -- they're just nothing.

Knowing God's existence cannot save you.
You must have a personal relationship with Him.

I grew up in a decent family. I mean, my grandfather called it a "prominent clan" because of professional members and well known people.

Morality is so important to us.

But..

It cannot save you.

Even you say that you're a Good Person or Religious.

It's nothing.

Our RIGHTEOUSNESS are just FILTHY RUGS in the eyes of GOD.

Believe it or not,

We're ALL SINNERS. (Romans 3:10,23)

I am a SINNER. I deserved to go to HELL!!!!.

But I was SAVED by GOD's AMAZING GRACE.

God so loved the world that HE gave His only begotten SON..

That's JESUS CHRIST.

He was born in a manger.
He did many wonderful works.
Yet, people despised and rejected HIM.

They crucified HIM.

I also did...

Because my sins crucified my Lord.

He was buried.
He rose again after three days.

That's my SAVIOR!!.

JESUS CHRIST.

He died for me.
He paid ALL of my sins.

His GRACE convicted me,
I repented of my sins.
I BELIEVED in HIM.
He's now my personal SAVIOR and LORD..

I'm forever grateful that HE chose me-- HE saved me from the miry clay of sins.

JESUS is the ONLY way, truth, and the life.

So, if you don't have HIM in your life..

You should REPENT and BELIEVE HIM NOW!!!!!

Today is the day of salvation.
Tomorrow maybe too late.

Hell is real as Heaven is.

That was April 19, 2007 when I became a child of God.

That's why I am not ashamed to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

To GOD be the GLORY!
