"About the interview," Drake said through the phone, "All of us here at the company would like to welcome you as our newest member of the A.D. Graham Enterprises family!" he said sounding quite cheerful. My mouth fell open and Addy immediately began clapping like a goddamn fool.

"Holy shit, are you serious?" I said barely able talk, "I got the job?"

"Yea, Avaline. I am very anxious to begin working with you," he said in a tone that made my stomach flutter up.

"Thank you so much, I hope I can be the assistant you are hoping for. You have no idea how happy this has made me and not to mention my very excited friend," I laughed.

"I am very happy with our decision here. We need to go over some very important terms, is there any way you could came back here soon?"

"Um, yea, I can, I'll leave now, just give me a few minutes, yea?" I said into the phone, kind of confused. He couldn't wait till tomorrow?

"Yea that's good. Congratulations on getting the job, you will do great,"

"Thank you Mr. Gr-, Drake," I heard him laugh through the phone.

"See you in a few Avaline,"

"Bye, and thank you so much again," I said and hung up.

I quickly changed back into my interview clothes and said a goodbye to a very confused looking Addy. I got in my car and drove back over to the building, my new work. I smiled to myself, very proud that I actually got the job and told myself to remember to call my parents and tell them the good news. I arrived and parked before going into the building and once again amazed at the class of the place. The same lady was at the desk when I walked over.

"I see you're back," she smiled, "when Mr. Graham personally walked you out, no one else he interviewed stood a chance," I blushed and she picked up her phone and called up to someone.

After about a minute, the elevator opened and out came Drake. He smiled and walked over to me and thanked, Leslie, who was apparently the lady behind the desk. I smiled and followed Drake to the elevator and up to his office.

"Nice seeing you again, Avaline," he smiled

"You can call me Ava," I smiled and he nodded.

"Thanks for coming in so soon. I wanted to go over some important things with you," we walked into his office, once reaching what I believe was the 7th floor. He motioned for me to sit down, so I took a seat in the one I was previously sitting on earlier. He walked around and took a seat behind his desk.

"As you probably know, I own the PRISM hotels. We are a very prestigious and high end luxury company and we like to keep that status up. With that being said, though I highly doubt this will be a problem, you need to stay classy and if you are ever in the cameras, you need to be very well kept. Anything can ruin the name of a business, and I will find it very hard to believe that you won't be able to respect that," he said sitting up in his seat and straightening his own tie, "also, there are a few things about my hotels that I will need to tell you, not now, as I need to know you won't go around in the public talking about it, but when you gain some seniority. I can't have certain things told to the public, as it too will drag us into the ground. I assume I will be able to tell you very soon though, am I right?" I shifted in my seat and he took notice.

"Look if you aren't alright with this, tell me before I start telling you all this shit," he said clearly getting annoyed. What the fuck?

"How do you expe-'' I was interrupted by him speaking into his phone.

"Put the ad for the job back up, clearly she's not going to work," he said before placing the phone back on the desk and nodding to the door. I rolled my eyes at stayed in my seat. "You should probably get going. Shame though, I was really looking forward to working with you," he said, taking in my body for the second time today.

"I'm not leaving, I need this damn job, it's just a lot to take in. Like how the fuck do I know that I'm not going to end up in a jail cell?" I said, and he rolled his eyes this time.

"I've been doing this for what? 10 years? I've never been caught with what I'm doing here with my business, and neither will you," I sighed and gave in.

"Fine, but I want my name on nothing, do you understand that?" I said sighing.

"I suppose we can do that," he said putting his hands together and leaning back in his chair, smirking.

"No you can definitely do that or I'm leaving. I am in college and I plan on having a very successful career when I finish and I can't have a fucking crime on my shoulders!" I said getting annoyed, yet again.

"Calm down, alright. No one will know you were anything but my assistant for my hotel. Nothing else, that's all you'll be known as to the public,"

"Alright, okay," I breathed out. He smirked and continued talking to me about the business.

"Your first day will be Wednesday; does that work?" I nodded and he continued, "I get here at about nine, so be here by 8:50, only the first day so Leslie can tell you about some things. All the other days be here by ten,"

"Okay that's not a problem, thanks for the job. I just really hope I won't regret it,"

"Oh believe you won't," he said in a way that made me believe he wasn't just referring to the job.

"If that's all, I'm going to be going then, goodnight," I said standing up from the leather chair.

"Yea it is, thanks Ava. Have a good night,"

"You too. See you Wedndesday," and with that I walked out of the large office and down to the lobby.

If only I knew what actually was to come alone with this job.
