New Life

Years passed after the last akuma attack, which was also Hawk Moth's last appearance to evilness. The last victim he took was Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Luckily, Adrien saved her in his civilian form.

Both couple live now with no evil in their lives. Marinette walks out of the college she attends to. Tikki follows her on her shoulder.

"That was some class, right Marinette?"

"It sure was, Tikki. But I'm not sure if you still need to be here. We saved Paris from Hawk Moth."

"Don't worry, I'm here till you get married."

"That's a really long friendship."

Marinette giggled. She got on her bike and rode to her apartment. The Sun slowly disappeared down the horizon making the night sky.

Marinette parked her bike and went in. "Hey Landi! Good evening! Any mail?"

"Hey Marinette! Not today."

"Oh. Well thanks."

She headed to the elevator. Her body was against the wall. She raised her head up and let out a sigh.

"Whats wrong?"

"Tikki, I miss Adrien... And he hasn't send any letter since..."

The thought of it made her depressed. "You don't need to remember. He will. Just give it time."

"You are right, Tikki. He has a busy life. 17 year olds are up to the skies."

"Yep. With modeling, school, fencing, Chinese, basketball, and of course, superhero. But there hasn't been any evil activity lately."

"Let's just do homework."

Marinette got off the elevator and went to her room. She took her books out and focused on work.

Time passed and she had fallen to sleep, when a knock woke her up.

"Marinette! There is a knock on the door." Tikki said. Marinette made herself stood up. She approached the door. Suddenly, there was an explosion. Marinette flew to the wall and hit it hard. She was weak. She could hear the sirens of the police and ambulance approaching.

"T-Tikki...?" She looked around. Everything was destroyed. All she could see was smoke and blood; her blood.

"There she is!" "Grab her!" "Help me over here!" "We need to get her to the hospital ASAP!" "We are loosing her!" "Hold on, miss!"

Darkness was all she saw. In her mind, she was remembering her life when she was 14, with Adrien. Crush hunting, saving Paris, and clumsy moments.

When she woke up, her family, Alya and Adrien were there.

"Mom?"

"MARINETTE!" Everyone said. They all surrounded her. She looked at their faces. Tears formed. "Where am I?"

"In the hospital, girl!"

"What happened?"

"Someone bombed your house, luckily, you survived my beautiful baby!" Her mom cried.

"Who did it?"

"The police is trying to find out."

She looked at the white room. Then to her body. Her limbs were intact. Just a few cuts.

Adrien stared at her and smiled the whole time. She smiled back.

"We'll leave you guys alone," Alya said, and took the parents out.

"Hey kitty."

"Hey princess..."

"I'm glad you came."

"I'm sorry I haven't wrote. I was busy."

"Its alright."

Tikki appeared next to his shoulder. "Tikki! How did you make it?"

"I'm a kwami! I can survive for years."

"She came to me and told me what happened. So I rushed here."

"Thanks Tikki."

The kwami giggled. Adrien kissed Marinette on her lips. She kissed back.

"I think I may know who did this to you."

"Who?"

"A new super villain."

"How did you know?"

"I've gotten many threads. If I didn't gave my Miraculous, then I would suffer the consequences."

"Oh. So you think this is revenge?"

"Yeah. But we got the best heroes in Paris: Us."

She smiled. "Ready yo go back on business, kitty?"

He smiled. "Ready."
