"maybe you should try to stop smoking?" she asked as dan reached for his fourth cigarette. "for today?"
"okay," he smiled weakly and pressed his thumb against her lips. "you look beautiful princess."
she reached up, pushing his hair back. "so do you."
dan smiled and gave her a kiss, just to show how much he adored her.
"i love you," he closed his eyes and balanced their foreheads together, memorizing the heat of her skin.
