Don't Do It

Dark as night,

Cold as ice,

Heart torn apart

On their knees

Crying For Help

Blood on hands

Everywhere was covered

Should have been careful

Should have been quiet

People would gasp at this scene

What happened was a blur

Knife on the floor

She watches the cuts

They trickle with blood

To hide her scars

A bowl of hot water

And with a flannel the stains of blood

Are washed away and forgotten for another day

Wipe your nose; dry your eyes

Paint on your beautiful pretend smile

The days seem longer

It gets harder to cope

Until no more!

Tie the rope

Its time to choke!

Don't jump! Too late!

Hung from the ceiling

Limp and lifeless

Not a breath

Nor gasp for air

Poor innocent girl

Ended her tragic life

Another life gone to waste

But how could one person

Change such a determined mind

No one could stop this girl

From committing suicide!!!
