•Nellie's P.O.V•
•5 Months Later•

I been on the run since my aunts house I wanted to find the others before I went mental, if I haven't already. I went back to the place I lost them at and see it burnt down to the ground so I go looking around to see what happened and it was just a attack they couldn't handle, but no site of the others ever going back. I then go back to my aunts house and that's where I'm at now, crying, of course I was, I mean it's been almost 3 years since I last saw my friends, my family, since the world was living. I've gone into a mental state .
    Maybe one day I will find them or I can find new people, But for now being alone will be fine.
    I walk into the living room looking around before I grab my other bag and I got out to my motorcycle. Yes, I have a motorcycle now I upgraded. I found it back at the weird place. I got lucky.
    I started down the dirt road and I look around and see Z's everywhere still but the seemed to ignore me. I turn on to the highway and I make my way down hoping to find someone that won't kill me. I watch were I was going and I noticed how I haven't run into any Z's which seemed strange. As I continue down the highway I notice where I was, it was Michaels uncle place just a head but cars seem to block the way. I slow down and I look down the long gravel driveway trying to see what is going on but I ignore the road and I continue on maybe come back later when I need shelter but right now I'll look through all of these until it gets dark.

    After I look through the cars I found useful stuff and I packed it into my backpack. I look at the sun and see it was three hours of sunlight so I get on my bike and I go to Michaels uncle place.
    I was in front of the farm house and it was huge just like I remembered it. I park my bike close to the front of the house and I go in slowly just in case a Z wandered in. I knock on the door loud enough to go out through the house and I hear nothing so I take caution and go upstairs look in every room and nothing was there. So I go back down stairs and I look for food to eat, I then found canned food and I eat some before I lock front and back door and cover the windows with the curtains to make sure I don't attract attention to the house. I go up stairs and do the same, just in case for some unwanted guests.
    I set up candles and a blow up mattress I found upstairs and I sit on it as I write in my Journal about my day. After I had done that it was dark maybe around 9:00 as I could tell. I lay down and look at the celling as I slowly fall asleep.

    I wake up from banging on the doors so I quickly get up and I get my gun as I walk to the doors.
    "Who's there" I yell, I knew it was humans from how they moved and talked.
    "People you don't wanna mess with" a really deep voice said, kinda sounded like someone I know.
    "How do you know I'm not someone you don't wanna mess with." I yell back slowly putting my back to the wall as they all walk in.
    "Your just one person" they yell back making me realize who it was.
    "Kenleey?" I say in confusion
    "Who the hell are you" I hear Ashley as I walk out from the shadows. And see all of them.
    "Nellie" Caitlyn says and hugs me, I was surprised so I didn't hug back until I realized it's real and I hugged back.
    "Where the hell were you" Addison asked
    "Alone, I went back to our hometown, then to my aunts house and now I'm here" I say skipping some parts
    "Ashley said you ditched her" Micheal said
    "I didn't, as we were running for our lives I look behind me and she was gone" I said
    "She's lying" Ashley said in a high pitched voice indicating she was lying
    "Believe what you want, kill me if you want to. Leave me to die or whatever but I'm not lying" I said
    "Your staying nellie we just found you" Caitlyn said
    "Yeah we needed you" kenleey said a little shy.
    "Well then, I'm here" I said and I opened my arms making them all hug me but Ashley.

I watch as Ashley and the others go to bed but Caitlyn, kenleey, and Addison who wanted to stay with me and listen to what happened to me.
"Spill the beans nellie" Caitlyn said with her arms crossed.
    "What happened" Addison asked.
    "I went back to my house and stayed there for two years. I had a fourwheeler and I buried my grandpa...after two years I packed my things and started recording things and writing down for the history books. I went to the gas station and stayed a night then went to my aunts house and stayed there for a while. Now I'm here." I said explaining the little details.
    "Did you run into anyone" kenleey asked concerned.
    "only the dead" I said
    "That's a surprised, we ran into some people back at the house we stayed in" kenleey said.
    "Tell me about it" I said as I lay down on the couch.
    "Get some rest nellie" Caitlyn said as her and Addison head to a room to sleep in.
    "I'll take first watch" kenleey said
    "Be my guest" Caitlyn said as she shut the door to her room. 
    "We don't need a watch" I said
    "What" kenleey said
    " we'll be fine, there's nothing out there" I said
    "Well then I'll just stay in here with you"he said as he lays next to me making me smile.
    "Don't you have a room with Ashley" I said looking at him
    "Yes, but I wanna be with you" he said as he looked at me.
    "Well then, I feel special"I said with giggle
    "Because you are" he said as he turned his back to me and started to fall asleep
    I smiled as I thought about how lucky I am to have my friends back. Being alone sucked ass.
