Chapter 18 (Goodbye)

Melanie's POV:

I woke up with Demi's lips pressed against mine.

"Baby it's 7:30 you've gotta be at the airport by 9" she mumbled in my ear.

I groaned and pulled a pillow over my head.

"I don't wanna go" I whispered tears brimming.

"I know baby, I don't want you go either but you have to" Demi pulled the pillow off my head and kissed my lips lightly.

"I have to pack my case" I told her.

"I done it last night while you was sleeping" she smiled up at me.

"Have I ever told you how amazing you are"

"You have but no today"

"Well your amazing" I smiled wrapping my arms tight around her body, pulling her up pressing my lips onto hers.

Demi deepened the kiss tangling her hands in my hair, I smiled squeezing her bum tracing lines down her bare back.

"I have to get ready" I mumbled instantly regretting in.

"I know" she whispered rolling off of me.

I shivered as the cold morning chill hit me.

I climbed out of bed walking into the bathroom naked, I turned the shower on stepping it, just as I was about to get out I felt two hands wrap around me from behind.

"I'm gonna miss our morning rendezvous in the shower" Demi mumbled kissing my back.

"Me too baby" I turned kissing her forehead.

"My heart is aching and you haven't even left yet" Demi chuckled with tears in her eyes.

"Oh god don't you're gonna start me off" I said as tears brimmed at the corner of my eyes.

"Sorry, go get dressed" she whispered.

I pressed my lips hard to hers my eyes tightly squeezed shut not wanting it to end, I finally pulled away and stepped out the shower.

Demi walked out just as I finished drying my hair and had my underwear on.

"That's one thing I will definitely miss" Demi grinned eyeing me up and down making me giggle.

"Don't worry baby I'll send you a picture every night so you can wake up to it in the morning" I smiled wrapping my arms around her.

"Stupid time zones" Demi pouted.

I laughed and kissed her,

"get ready baby I need to be there in an hour" I smacked her bum and pulled the sweats that Demi had sorted out for me to wear.

"I love how you knew I'd want to wear these on the plain" I smile pulling a plain vest over my head.

"Well no one wants to sit in jeans on a plane gorgeous"

"This is true"

I pulled on my red supra's and SnapBack saying Demi's girl.

Demi turned and smiled at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Well now you actually are Demi's girl" she grinned.

"Oh yeah I am aren't i" I smiled.

Demi was in her underwear about to dry her hair, I smiled taking the blow dryer from her hands and doing it for her, she smiled watching me in the mirror.

After me and Demi finally finished getting ready we got in her car and she drove me to LAX, we sat in silence our fingers intertwined on Demi's lap.

We pulled up outside the airport and Demi got out the car walking in with me, we checked my suitcase in and just stood there starring at eachother.

"Don't go" she whispered her bottom lip trembling, she bit it trying to hold back the tears.

"Don't ask me that" i said fighting back tears myself.

"Why"

"Cause I won't" I told her.

I pulled Demi into my arms as tears slid down her face, I squeezed her tightly burying my head in her hair as I began to sob uncontrollably.

"See what you make me do" I hiccuped between sobs.

Demi giggled as she sniffled.

"Sorry"

I pressed me lips to hers taking her cheeks in my hands, I pulled on her bottom lip begging her for entrance which she granted immediately, I held her face as close to mine as possible as tears streamed down both of our faces.

Demi's hands tight on my hips as our tongue done the dance they know so well.

I pulled away for mere seconds only to catch my breath.

Demi grabbed my thighs picking me up I wrapped myself around her like a little kid burying my face in her shoulder just embracing the moment.

"I have to get to my terminal" I whispered.

"5 more minutes" Demi mumbled.

I squeezed her tighter and pressed my lips to hers one last time before she placed me back on the ground.

"I'm gonna miss you so much" I said wiping the tears from her cheeks with the pad of my thumb.

"I'm gonna miss you too" she whispered.

"Don't cry and drive please baby, I don't want anything to happen to you" I told her.

She just nodded biting her lip holding back the tears that so badly wanted to fall.

"I'll see you soon okay" I said and she nodded.

I pressed my lips to hers one last time before walking off through security.

I took one last look at her and she waved to me before walked off to find my terminal.

My hand covering half my face as I tried not to cry, I got on the plane and just broke down crying, people tried to comfort me but I just shook my head and said I was fine.

I put my headphones in an listened to Demi as she sang me to sleep the whole way home.
