Jacksepticeye's Point of View:
(Y/N) had not said a word once we arrived home. She had fallen asleep in the car, but woke up as soon as I had pulled the keys out of the ignition. I was honestly worried, which made me feel anxious. What if she never talks again? What if she wants to leave? What if she doesn't smile...? Ever again?

I went around to her side, and picked her up, shutting the car door with my foot. "How about we make a cake for Anti? So he can have it when he gets back."

(Y/N) didn't respond, only turned her head away.

Biting my lip, I unlocked, then opened the front door, stepping in. Once the door was closed, I went into the kitchen, setting her on the counter. I got a glass of water, and placed it in front of her. She stared at it for a bit, then turned away.

I sighed, leaning against the counter. "(Y/N)... I'm really sorry about your parents. We didn't know..."

Goddammit... we had a feeling... why do I feel like I'm lyin'?

(Y/N) hugged me. "I want Anti," she whispered.

My heart sank as I hugged her back. "Yeah... I'll go call him for ya'."

Anti...

I pulled my phone out, then jumped as it rang. I answered it, breathing out. "Hello?"

"Is everything alright?!"

I flinched at Anti's loud voice on the other side of the phone. "Anti? I was just about to call you..."

"What's wrong? Is (Y/N) alright?"

I glanced at her, then left the room quickly, hushing my voice. "We just found out her parents are dead, Anti... she... she really wants you right now,"

The line went silent, then the sound of cursing breathed through. "Okay, look... Google is tryin' to get to Sam. I can call Bing to let him take care of it, or stay behind."

I frowned. "Google? Why...?"

"Beats me, but he looks... different. He has glowing blue lines running up his arm and neck, and his eyes seem... dull. Something is wrong, but we're not sure."

I ran a hand through my hair, glancing over, seeing (Y/N) sipping on the water. "Look, call Bing. (Y/N) really needs you, and if someone can be there to figure out what's wrong with Google, it's Bing."

Anti sighed. "Yeah, I guess so. I'll be there in a while. I'm not sure how long Bing will take..."

"Just hurry home, 'kay? I'm really worried about (Y/N)."

"You got it. Keep an eye on her. I'll be home no later than nine."

I glanced at the clock on the wall above the tv, and nodded. 1:35... "Alright. See you soon."

"Later," he hung up.

I sighed, then pocketed my phone.

"Is Anti coming soon...?"

I jumped, then glanced down at (Y/N) who tugged on my jacket. I smiled softly, then crouched. "Yeah. He should be home around dinner time."

She looked down, dropping her hand. "Oh..."

I glanced away, trying to shake the tinge of pain in my chest. "He'll be back before you know it, (Y/N). Trust me."

(Y/N) looked up, fresh tears streaming down her cheeks. "Mommy, and Daddy are gone... I..." she gritted her teeth, staring at me. "I..." she hiccuped, then reached out, and hugged my neck, shuddering.

I hugged her little body tightly, pressing a kiss to her head. "Just let it out, (Y/N). It's okay to cry. It's okay."

She shuddered again, then held onto my tightly, wailing. I sat down cross legged, pulling her into my lap quickly. She shook, and shuddered, casting her pain-filled screams into the air. Her head was tilted back, her little hands gripping the hood of my jacket tightly.

"'Just close your eyes,'" I sang softly. "'The sun is going down.
You'll be alright.
No one can hurt you now.
Come morning light.
You and I'll be safe and sound.'"

She quieted, hiccuping and sniffing. She leaned against me, resting her head on my shoulder.

"'Just close your eyes,'" I smiled softly, rocking her body.

"'You'll be alright,'" I watched her wipe her eyes, staring at the wall.

"'No one can hurt you now,'" her eyes drooped slightly, blinking sleepily.

"'Come morning light,'" she started to nod off, her (E/C) eyes closing.

"'You and I'll be safe,'" her chest rose, and fell steadily, her body relax.

"'And sound."'

I stood slowly, careful to not wake her, and quietly went down the hall to my room. I laid her down in my bed, pulling the blankets up to her shoulders. I sat next to her, and brushed her (H/C) hair with my fingers. I loved her like a daughter, even though I barely knew her, but... I couldn't help it. It was sudden. As soon as I saw her, I knew I had to protect her, no matter the cost... it just... sucks that Anti is the one she really wants...

Is that selfish of me...?

I stood, then left, softly closing the door. "It sure does feel like it..."

Antisepticeye's Point of View:
"Wh-what? Y-you're leaving?"

I ran a hand through my hair, looking down at Sam. His green hair flopped over his left eye messily, his bright blue eyes staring at me worriedly. "Yeah. I'm sorry, Sam. Something urgent came up, and I-!"

"More urgent than this?!"

I grimaced. "I called Bing. He'll know how to deal with Google better than I. He'll take care of you, Sam."

Sam frowned, then shook his head, taking a step back. "We're family. You said it yourself. We have to take care of each other."

"Other family must be attended to," I snapped. "You're not the only family I have Sam."

He flinched, looking away. "... yeah."

I sighed. "Look. Bing'll be here in an hour. Hang tight for a bit. Don't let him in," turning, I grabbed my coat, and shrugged it on. "I mean it, Sam. No matter what he says, or do. Don't."

"I got it. You can shut up, now."

I looked back, and shot him a glare. "I didn't have to come, Sam. Stop being a selfish brat, and stand up for yourself in your own fucking life. Stop expecting us to help you out all the time."

His glare hardened, and he clenched his fists. "Shut up, Dark-Wannabe. You're nothing but a copycat!"

I raised a brow, then smirked, stepping towards the door. "Oh, no. I feel like complete shit. Let me change for the sake of others," I opened the door, and stepped out, smirking as Sam became pale. "Gotta work on your insults, Sammy."

"Wai-!"

I slammed the door, stalking off with my hands in my pockets. "Damn kid doesn't know anything."
