The enrollment process. The long cues, the extended yawns of fatigue, the " I cant wait to get out here" moments, never gets old.My teeth were chattering as I waited in the freezing cold to get to the front of the line. Finally on the front line, I  rapidly walked on aisle of the finance department. Upon arriving at His office, Mr man said, " Have sit gentlemen." with an excruciating expression of " I made it to the promise land" on my face, I sat quietly. " Let me have a look at your documents for a quotation," He asked. I stretched out my hand and gave it to him. He sat in front of his computer desk with an intense look as if he was on a mission to fulfill a mandate. At that moment the room became so silent that a sound of a water drop could make a noticeable noise. He took a breath, leaned back on His office chair and stretched out his hands toward me , "son here is your quotation." he said. I grabbed it from his hand and gazed at it for a good five minute. As I looked at it my frown deepened and my gaze grew intense the moment my eyes interacted with the figures to paid. " the total amount is R32000." the sound of his voice awoke me from my daydream. My heart ached for about 5 seconds and my thoughts traveled as far as the journey to find the money, " do I have to pay it as an upfront payment." I asked, " Yes son." He replied. "Thank you sir." Bang!!  the sound of his office door as I walked out  in despair, wondering where will  I get this sum.

Knock, knock. "come in." hello Dad....

Hi son, You look retarded

well, you can say that again Dad

How did the registration Go?

I breathed a sigh of discontent and said, " See for yourself"

Son, I don't have this money, what are we going to do?

I have no idea Dad, you have to perform a miracle

I am sorry but I can't afford son.

But Dad, what am suppose to do?

There is nothing much we do now but let's see How things unfolds. He responded

Silently, I walked out of his room, straight to mine and glued myself to my bed. While counting the patterns of the ceiling a wave of a profound slumber succumbed me into a deep sleep.
