chapter 6: THE WHITE PIGEON

"It's weird",he said looking at the dark cloud above the sky through the window. "It wasn't supposed to rain today",he said to himself.

He saw a flock of pigeon flying through the sky in search of shelter. One pigeon suddenly separated from the flock. He was heading toward him swiftly flipping it wings. The pigeon looks different than others. The pigeon soon enough reached him. It has purple eyes and white silky feather. He couldn't believe his eyes. He has never seen such a beautiful creature. It's seems like those creatures from fairy tales. He looked at its eyes. Those purple eyes were hypnotising. He stare it as long as he can. Its eyes resemble something very deep. He slowly began to lost in its eyes. Everything began to seem like illusion to him. Then, he saw a visions. The visions in pigeon's eyes. Those visions were so swift he could hardly remember all those thing he could see there.

"Andy...". This voice shook him out of his deep concentration on visions. It was Ian. "What were you doing, Andy?" asked Ian.

"Look at this pigeon". Andrew pointed toward the window. Ian laughed. "There is no pigeon, Andy". Andrew was shocked. He couldn't believe his eyes. He rubbed his dark brown eyes and took a close glance. He said, " it was here a moment ago". Ian laughed again. Andrew felt uneasy and embarrassed this time. "It might have flew away. Aw, Andy" he said. Andrew thought he was right perhaps. Andrew said with smile, "maybe".

They had a short walk. Andrew saw Kate with her friend Sierra on the way. Sierra waved her hand as greetings toward Ian and Andrew. They waved their hand, too, in reply to her greetings. Kate probably noticed them but didn't seem to care. She walked away without even greeting them. She, simply, ignored them. Andrew noticed it and seems to be hurt due to her arrogant behaviour. She has been behaving like that since few days. Andrew knew no reason for it. Unlike Andrew Ian didn't seems to care her uncaring action. It seems it's normal for him.

"Do you think she likes me?" asked Ian. His voice, again as earlier, shook him out of this thought. He asked in confusion, "huh?" Ian replied wondering in his thoughts, "i think she love me but...".

Andrew saw Destiny. She was far away but still smiling at him. She giggled and turned and something into her friends ears. Andrew thought it wasn't for him. He was praying it to be true too. He finally asked, "but what?" Ian answered, "but she never confess it". It was andrew's time to laugh. He laughed and asked, " who are you really talking about?". Ian gave him disgusted smile. "Obviously sierra. Who else" Andrew just nodded his head with little surprise and said, "oh..."

The thought of mysterious and beautiful elegant pigeon have never left his mind. He was still thinking about it. He whispered to himself softly, "what could it mean? What was it, really?" Ian heard him. They were already in a dining hall of school. Ian sat on a chair and offered Andrew to sit too. Andrew sat down. He grabs out the bun from his bag. He had his bite. Ian was having french fries. It was wedges. "So, you are still thinking about that pigeon? Why?"asked Ian.

"It was special unlike any other pigeon. It was different"replied andrew.

"What was unique in it?", Ian

"It was white..."said Andrew. Andrew want to add something more but Ian cut him off.

"Don't give me that shit. Come on Andy that's not unique traits", Ian

Andrew took another bite of the bun and wash it down with thick quince juice. "It has purple eyes" he said. Ian looked him in unusual way and said, "what's unique in it? Pigeon have red, yellow, black and other various kinds of eye's colour. It normal". Andrew finally revealed truth. "I saw visions in its eyes". Ian couldn't believe Andrew's nonsense. Yet he asked, "what were those visions?".

"I saw lots of visions. But i couldn't remember all of them. I only remember only three visions. The first one was the swords.", Andrew.

"Swords?" , Ian asked

"Yes, it was swords. They seems very elegant. They were pair as twins. They was twinkling as stars. Then i saw a girl. The girl was redhead and she bumped with me. I feel like she is same girl that i collided on first day. I can't see her face again. Then i saw rabbit lying dead and crows hovering above it and snake beside it", Andrew explained his visions. And asked, "what could it mean?"

Ian replied, "don't worry Andy. i know what it mean." Andrew knew he was gonna make fun of him again. But Andrew was interested to know his answer. He asked for his answer and Ian replied, "two swords means fight. And you saw girl means you are gonna fall in love. Maybe you are already in love. Now, dead rabbit means you are gonna die or something like that and snake is gonna be your greatest enemy and crows are your's other enemies."

"How does it make sense?", asked Andrew with disgusted smile.

"Aw Andy, you are gonna fall in love with a girl and you have to fight to win her and you are gonna lose", laughed out Ian.

Andrew got it. His evergreen smile doomed with dark cloud of sadness. "Maybe it's showing me my past instead of my future." and added "it has already happened".

Ian asked in confusion, "what?"

Andrew tried to hide. "Nothing".
