1: Moving

Today is the day my life changes forever.

Today is the day I find out I'm moving to Beacon Hills.

Jess's pov

I grab some lunch money and I'm out the door. I'm going to be late for the bus.

"Bye mom! I'll see you after school!"

"Bye honey, have a good day!"

*School Bus*

On the bus there's no where to sit, as usual. I'll just sit in the front today, again.

"Hey Larry." I say with a sigh.

"Who's that? Oh hello Jessica."

"Hi." Oh god can he just call me Jess.

I pop in some earbuds and crank up my music. I start air drumming to Twenty One Pilots.

"She's the tear in my heart," I start.

*At School*

I arrive just in time for my first period, Econ, *internally cries*.

"Hey buddy," I whisper to my best friend and partner in crime Rebecca.

She's my partner in crime all right: We stole two boxes of Tic Tacs once when we were eleven. One box each. The 7-11 was about to close and it was our only chance. We only had a $1.50 left, which is barely enough for one box. Surprisingly we didn't get caught. Luckily they were changing the security cameras at that time.

*after Economy, in between classes*

"So what's happing?" Asks Becca
(Becca is her nickname if you haven't noticed)

"Nothing much. I almost missed the bus today. I had to sit in the front."

"Ugh by Larry?"

"Ya, he keeps calling me 'Jessica'. JUST CALL ME FREAKIN JESS. I didn't say that to him but I was thinking of it."

"Oh wow. Well I'll see you at lunch. Bye."

I waved bye.

2 classes later
*lunchtime*

I bought my lunch and I meet Becca at our table.

"What's on Jess's menu today?"

I laugh and reply, "Burger and tater tots with a splendid drink of blackberry Izzy."

"Sounds splendid." Rebecca says, laughing.

"Jess Roads please come to the office. Jess Roads please come to the office. Thank you."

"What did I do now?" I say rolling my eyes. "I probably have a dentist appointment my mom forgot about or something. Bye."

"Bye partner in crime." Becca says winking at me.

*at the office*

"Hello, your mother said you have an appointment she forgot about. She will be here very soon."

"Thanks. That's usually something she forgets about." I say laughing.

5 minutes later

"Hey mom."

"Hurry, hurry, hurry!" Oh boy we must be late.

At my house.

"Quickly get a snack."

"Uh I just ate lunch."

"Oops oh well. Jess, there's something I need to talk to you about."

"Uh, I thought I had a dentist appointment, mom."

"I needed to pull you out of school to tell you this."

"You couldn't have waited until the end of the day?"

"No, now listen closely." Okay then.

"Your father got accepted to this new job in Beacon Hills as Deputy. We are moving to Beacon Hills."

My jaw drops.
