Twins

This one shot was requested by @lexi_2003_12 and had a specific Treddy storyline in mind. I hope you enjoy!

Tomika's POV
17 years after seventh grade

I heard the door click open.

"Mommy!" I heard my three year old son, Jack, say as he wrapped his arms around my leg. I picked him up.

"Hi baby! Where's-"

"MOMMY!" My other son, Jack's twins brother, James yelled. That answered my question. He gave my legs a hug, just as Jack had and I patted his back.

"Where's daddy?" I asked.

"Right here." Freddy said, walking into the kitchen. He kissed my forehead and I set Jack down. He ran off with James to go play downstairs.

"How was the appointment?" I asked, biting my lip.

"Well, James had a peanut allergy, like we suspected, but Jack shows no sign of the allergy."

"Ok, and any shots?"

"Nope, but we do have to pick up three different medicines for James just in case he has an allergic reaction."

"Ok, good." I said. I had been baking a cake from scratch when the boys got home. I went back to the oven to check on the cake.

"Here, will you watch the cake for a little bit while I go play with the boys?"

"Of course!"

"Thanks." I said, giving him a quick kiss on the check and heading downstairs to play with the boys. The were playing on with their cars, racing them around the track.

"Can I play?" I asked.

"Of course, Mommy."

That was the moment I knew that I was lucky.
