"So, tell me some things about you Ava," I said looking at her. Jesus Christ she was gorgeous. I've seen her three times and I can already tell that everything about her is perfect. Part of me gave her this job for her abilities and the bigger part of me gave it to her so I could, you know, give it to her.

"Uh well, you know my parents and I'm in college, blah blah. I live with my best friend near the university in an apartment. I don't really know what else to say, there isn't much," she laughed rubbing her arm. I smiled and laughed.

"Are you single?" I asked a little too quickly. Good job Brey.

"Uh, yea," she blushed and my heart sped up a bit. I didn't say anything for a while and she didn't either so we sat there in a very uncomfortable silence.

"So, um, tomorrow I have classes from nine until about two so do you want me to come early before my classes and then come after my last one?" she said sipping her water.

"No don't come in early, it's fine. Just come in after, take a break between though, don't strain yourself trying to get here quickly," I said as she smiled slightly, "but do try to make it before four. I have a meeting that you will be attending with me. It's about some other business that I need to take care of," she shifted in her seat, something she did when she was uneasy.

I sighed and gave her an apologetic look. I didn't like having to bring her into what I did any more than she liked being a part of it. I needed someone to help with all of this shit and my wide range of managers said it would be best if I hired an assistant who wasn't someone you would think of doing the wrong things. They said it would help keep everything in the low light. There has already been a lot of skeptical things said about what exactly I am running and I don't need them to get bigger or else my hotels and myself are dead.

It was driving me crazy not knowing what I was getting myself into. I don't even know when I would find out. He said I needed to earn his trust and I don't know how I am supposed to do that when right now he literally has nothing to test that with. With my parents being lawyers and knowing some very high up officials, it's probably going to be longer than I want it to be.

"Did you have classes today?" he asked pulling out of my thoughts.

"Yea but I took off from them today for my first day. I didn't want to come in late on my first day," I smiled.

"You could have left early; I wouldn't have minded. Don't put aside college to work here, please. If you do I'll just have to let you go, and I really don't want to have to do that," he smirked while letting his eyes flicker to my lips.

My heart began to beat faster and I felt my cheeks heat up. He noticed and stayed smirking. Clearly he knew what he was doing to me, and I think he was pretty impressed with himself for it. But he was literally the most powerful man here in Toronto, he could make any women he wanted to swoon if he just glanced in her direction, including me. He stayed at me for a few moments before the waitress came back to the table with our food. We ate in silence for the remainder of lunch. Drake payed the bill, which I was strongly against, although I know how much money he has. He just laughed at my pleas that I could pay for myself but he just ignored me as he paid the bill and left a very good tip. We walked back out to the car that was waiting on us. I climbed in and buckled my belt as Drake climbed in beside me, not even minding his belt. He angled himself to me and then told the driver to take us back to his offices.

"Did you enjoy your lunch, Miss Reynolds?" the driver asked me kind of scanning my body through the rear view mirror. I hunched over in my seat, feeling very uncomfortable with how this man was looking at me. Drake noticed almost immediately and placed his hand on my leg and shot the driver a very threatening look. The driver just smirked at him and fixed his eyes back on the road. Drake's hand didn't leave my leg until we pulled up to the building. He stepped out of the car before he motioned for me to wait for him a few feet away. He walked to the passenger door and leaned in through the window.

"Do not fucking look at her like that again, I will have your ass dropped," he said, probably thinking I couldn't hear.

"You can't do that and you know that. I'll have your ass dropped, you know who my boss is, and it's not someone you have a very good history with," I heard the driver say and I stiffened before backing further up so I couldn't hear the rest of the conversation. I didn't want to hear the rest of it.

Drake walked up to me a few minutes later, showing no sign of worry and walked me up the steps to the front door. We walked past Leslie as she gave us a quick smile before opening the elevator for us. Drake thanked her before taking us into the elevator and pressing my seventh floor button.

When we got back to his office, he left the room on a phone call and didn't return for about two hours so I sat at my desk on my laptop doing some paperwork he had told me to look over before he left. When I finished, I didn't have anything else to do so I walked out of the office and decided to go to the lounge. I didn't see Drake anywhere so I just carried on up to where I wanted to go. I arrived in the lounge to find more people sitting around talking on their computers. I made my way to a couch in front of the windows that gave way to the gorgeous view of the city. I sat there for about twenty minutes before I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I turned around and saw Drake standing there before he came around the couch to sit beside me.

"You know I have lived here in Toronto all my life, but I have to say, this view is probably the best I have seen of my city. It captures everything, it's gorgeous," I said still absolutely captivated by it.

"I'm glad you like it, but don't be spending all your time up here. I'll get lonely in that big office," he smiled and I laughed.

"What about the times I'll be at school?" I smirked.

"I'll just have to wait for you to get back here, it'll be hard," he was such a flirt but I didn't even mind he was so attractive.

We walked back to his office and he sat at his desk not doing anything, as did I. I was pretty bored and I think he was too. This is definitely now what I had expected when I would be working here. I didn't realize how much sitting around he probably did. If anything, that's why he hired an assistant, to keep him company. In more than one way, if I might add. Some of things he would say to me told me that we would be doing a lot more in this office than work. I smirked to myself and looked up at him, to find him staring at me with his lip between his teeth. I believe that right there proved my thoughts exactly.
