"Shit" I yell as the powder flies everywhere. I pout and glance at my shirt which is covered in iced tea powder. I get on my knees and I use my hands to shove all the loose powder into on little spot. I reach my hand up to grab my phone but I grab the container holding the rest of the powder. All the powder was all over me and the floor.

I pout and I stand up dusting off some of the powder. I hear the keys opening the front door and I freeze in stop.

"Moms home" I whisper. Shit what was I gonna do. Blame the cat? Yes.

The door opens revealing my mother with a hot man. Oh shit she brought home my dinner. Or maybe hers? Idk ew.

"Hola mama" I say while smiling sweetly at the woman who was wide eyed and glaring at me. I smile at her and I look at the guy who was hungrily looking at my petite body.

"What did you do mija". My mom says while looking at me and shaking her head slightly. I act offended and I raise a eyebrow.

" I did nothing of the sort. Kitty knocked over the iced tea" I say while pointing to the fat cat laying on the couch.

She narrows her eyes at me.

"Stop lying to me Athena. Your covered in powder" she shakes her head and points to the powder on the floor.
"Meet Justin then clean all This up"

I nod and I step over the powder and stand in front of the tall Greek god man.

"Hello sir I'm Athena" I put my hand out standing straight up like I'm in the army. mom and him let out a laugh.

"I'm Justin your soon to be step dad" he smiles but it soon vanishes as he sees my face. My mom glares at him and turns to me.

"Step dad?" I question her.

"Surprise" she throws her hands up and stands next to Justin.

"Wow so you bring a man home and then all of a sudden your getting married? Wow are you pregnant too?" I ask her with a slight attitude.

"Athena watch that mouth. Me and jay have been dating for 4 months and-"
"FOUR MONTHS?! When was your only daughter gonna find out?"
"You found out right now" she states in a duh tone.

See this is why I love my mom. Even though she sprung this all on me, I'm not gonna give her a hard time knowing she is Just trying to forget about dad.

"Okay well it's fine with me" I say while hugging her dearly. She squeals and hugs back while Justin laughs and claps.

"I'm gonna head upstairs to change so stay here and clean up" my moms points at me and hurries upstairs. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"Aren't you gonna go with her?" I question to Justin. He stared at me for a minute before licking his lips.

" I want to bond with you" he states while shrugging. I make a face then laugh.

"Okay let's bond while I clean up iced tea"
I grab the brook from the Side of the fridge and I start sweeping up the powder.

" So daddy how old are you?" I question him as he leans against the wall watching me. His eyes widen and he bites his lip.

"I'm 23 baby girl" he states while looking down. I was in so much shock that I slip on the powder. Yes I slipped on powder. I widen my eyes and I look at the laughing Justin.

"Don't lie to me" I say while my mouth slowly forms a "O" shape.

"I'm not lying. Here look at my I.D" he takes his wallet out and shows me. Wow my mom is with a 23 year old man.
