"AHAHAHA!" Loki erupted out happily, the mad man had a smile equivalent to a little girl getting a pony for Christmas.

"Woah,"I could here tony mumble, surprised apparently about my decision.  He however did not look as crestfallen as my dad-I mean Steve.

The blonde man I grew up with looked heartbroken and furious nd guilty all at once. He seemed to drown in a vast array of negative emotions.

The whole lot of earth's mightiest heroes seemed to be a tsunami of shock.

Full disclosure-it was horrible.

First off-I hate swimming. Also, I hate swimming a lot more when it's a sea of disappointed loved ones.

-

Loki was throwing a huge fit of joy, slyly taunting his blonde brother who stood n defeat at the outskirts of rubble.

"Shut up!" Thor bellowed, his posture strengthening again as he peered dwn at Loki.

A smirk appeared on my father's lips as he looked at the heroic crew.

Apparently having custody over me meant the whole world to the god of mischief.

STEVE'S POV

I couldn't believe my little girl was being swept out of my life by an extraterrestrial Nazi.

My body burned with loathing for the dark haired man, I hated the way he looked at her.

I hated how he looked at her with love.

he didn't know the first thing about her, He only knew what she was, his daughter. He didn't know who she was. He didn't know that when s grew up she wanted to be a detective. Hell, bet was he didn't even know her middle name.

My jaw stayed firmly clenched, my balled up fists stayed hidden behind my shield as Natasha held her hand on my shoulder.

Her expression stayed blank, in truth I had no clue what was going on in her mind. Didn't know if she saw the mission of saving my daughter nothing more than business.

"Will you shut up with all the stupid school yard taunt, my Jesus, we get it, "Clint said in complete exasperation.

His face was cold and hard, lingering with complete annoyance for the brother of Thor.

Loki chuckled deeply and backed away from Thor, to Hela's side.

"Oh my apologies," Loki said, sarcasm laced through his words.

"I just can't believe I finally got my daughter after all these ears of YOU FOOLS HIDING HER FROM HER TRUE FATHER," He lashed out before the ivory skinned girl besides him landed a sharp elbow to his side.

Hela looked terrified. But not because of Loki. It seemed her fear was more so directed towards me.

Her green eyes met mine for a split second and with that a wave of disappointment for the young lady I raised.

I took a deep breath and made a signal to move out.

"Avengers...disperse," I said in shame before I walked away from the rubble we had found Hila in earlier.

The group heroes, assassins, and engineers followed out after me, Thor being last to join us.

We continued on.

And for once...I let go of my history with a person and accepted, "She's not my little girl..."
