Upon thinking one night cold and lonely,
a smaller version of myself sat where I do today, Cold and lonely.
The world seemed so vast and alive
but yet so cold and lonely.
There's millions of faces, and none I can see,
Could this be because it's cold and I'm growing more lonely?
You can hold someone, but yet you're still cold,
You're next to someone, yet you're still alone.
And in that moment, at the cold air attacked my inhaling lungs.
I realized, you can die without ever breathing your last breath,
In a world that's cold and lonely.
