Melanie walked into the large building getting hit with a wave of cold air, shivering at the contact. she could here the wood boards creak under her heels, with each step she took. the asylum was more clean than she expected , well she guessed she had never been to an asylum before but she would have to stay here, for a long, long, time. she didn't like that. her girlfriend, marina didn't like that either... Mels schizophrenia didn't bother her at all. she didn't care! her mom did though, that bothered Mel, her mother didn't care till she came out to her. "why am i even here Marina? I'm not... you know crazy..." Melanie looked her in the eyes, marina couldn't handle this she loved Melanie with all of her lonely heart. she broke down crying not wanting to be here, she knew she would never see her again, ever. mel and her locked hands and walked to the front desk, ringing the bell . 'shiney, shine bell!' mel singed in her head thinking how aesthetic this room is being interrupted by a nun walking into the room. "you must be melanie, mart-" she said sarcasticly, being interrupted by mel not noticing how much shit she's in. she felt eyes every where but she shrugged it off. "yep!! thats me!!" she said with a big smile plastered on her face showing off her gap in her teeth.

after her 'check ups' you may say she had gotten her stuff, but before she had to say goodbye to marina. marina looked paler and she had tear stained cheeks, mel didn't understand this was kind of a like 1 month sleep over right? she didn't have that many clothes with her but they had a washing machine here right? so it wouldn't be half bad! Mel waited to go to her room and set it all up. but once mel left the aesthetically pleasing room, it turned dark, dirty and... scary? mel wasn't scared easily but this hallway was bad, mel didn't like this at all. she was just shoved into her room, with a "have a lovely stay at briarcliff". mel soon realized her beautiful marina, not even her drunken mother would come see her. most people would say she was crazy for what she says about her mother, no one believes the little girl about how her mother slaughtered her father and a slut off the streets...
