At the almost-all-girls school are six boys of sixteen and seventeen. They crave the attention of girls and call themselves the "Players." The girls don't mind, since there are more girls than boys (obviously) they don't mind the boy attention.

We, will follow the story of Addison, the new girl, as she battles her way through. She's only here because of her little sister and her cancer. Addison wants nothing to do with the Players. All she wants is an education and maybe a couple of friends. One boy though, wants to protect her from the other Players. He proposes a knightship but Addison rejects?

~~Other things~~

(part one)

(Addison)

I groaned, blinking. A light flashed in my face. I flung my hand in front of my face, but the light still bit at my face.

"Get it away!" I shouted. I heard giggles and my eyes opened wide. It was my little sister, Remi. She grinned at me and I felt heavy knowing she had cancer, and seeing her face all puffy and hairless, I frowned.

"Oh, it's you. I'm sorry," I say, hugging Remi. She laughed and sighed. "It's okay, Addi! You're my best friend!" She hugged me tightly and I felt warm. "Mommy says she has a surprise for chou, by the whay." Remi slipped her hand in mine. She pulled me out of my comfy and Pooh Bear clad bed, and out of my Dream Purple room.

Remi guided me down the long staircase and into the sunlit kitchen. Mom was there, reading the newspaper with dark circles under her eyes. She smiled warily when she saw me. After Remi was diagnosed, Mom hasn't been able to get a lot of sleep.

"Hey, Addison. I have something I want to talk to you about."

"Sure. What is it?"

Mom glanced at Remi. She waved me closer to me. "Lets talk in private, though," she said. I let go of Remi's hand. Mom nodded towards her office and Remi looked helplessly at us. "Mommy, can I come too?!" The eagerness in her eyes, the hope, made my heart drop.

"Honey, me and Addison are going to have a little chat about grown-up stuff. You wouldn't like it." Remi frowned playfully. "Fine. But when chou're done, chou help me make play-duh?!" Mom laughed and whispered out a hearty laugh.

When Remi was set at colouring in her colouring book, Mom led me into her office. Her office walls were a deep red, and the floor was carpeted with orange. She had piles and piles of unedited manuscripts and past books.

"Sit. We need to talk about your schooling." Mom cleared a chair for me and sat in her spinny chair.

"Yeah?" I say as coolly as possible. I was doing good at school. It's just that there was a flu or some sort going around, and I guess my mom had found out.

"I've been hearing there's a disease going around. And, I'm worried that you'll catch it, and at Remi's stage, she's shouldn't be exposed to harmful germs like that." I nodded in agreement. "So, what will you do?"

Mom ran her hand through her thick blond hair. She attempted to smile at me, but failed. Instead, it looked more of a grimace.

"Well, I'm going to send you to a boarding school. Krena Boarding to be exact." I stiffened. Krena? Krena Boarding?! That place of model-skinny girls, stuck-up teachers, and female attention craving guys?! Yup. It's going to be great. Note all that sarcasm there.

"Wow, Mom, that's going to be great! I'm going to be the fattest girl there, even though I'm at normal weight! And, look, I'm not pretty, so I'm going to be dumped in a toilet! It's going to wonderful!" I shout at her, not hiding any venom. Mom glared at me.

"Addison, I'm sorry, but it was the only school I could think of." She leaned forward, attempting to embrace me, but I ignored the gesture, making her know that I was clearly pissed off at the idea. She was quiet for a moment before mentioning, "You're leaving tomorrow."

"Thanks Mom for telling me earlier," I spat, giving her a grimace. I stormed out of her office, and began to climb up the stairs when she shouted up, "Get packing!"

~NEXT DAY, 4:30A.M.~

I groaned, my eyes blinking open. Someone's small and bald head bobbed up and down, causing earthquakes on my bed.

"Remi!" I shout, irritated. She giggled and wiggled out her tongue at me. "It's time for you to go to school!" she cheerfully added. I sifted my hand through my hair, even more annoyed. Today, it was the day that I had to go to that school that would probably kill me.

Mom peered timidly through the slightly ajar door. She blinked. "Addison, it's time to go."

"But, I didn't even eat breakfast yet!"

"Well, we'll stop by something. They expect you there at 6:30A.M. sharp. I do not think you should be late." I sneered and gently eased Remi onto the side of my bed. "Fine, Mom. Lets go." I spit out 'go' as if it is something sour.

I tug on a blue t-shirt and some skinny jeans. I brush down my wild bundle of hair and tie it up in a swinging ponytail. Mom's downstairs when I get there, holding my blue duffel bag in her hand. She smiled sappily at me. "Time to go."

Remi poked her head from behind Mom's long skirt. "Yeah, Addi. Yeah! We're going to have a fun ride!" She grinned sweetly at me, and I had to smile back. "With you it will, ha ha." I pet her head and we pile ourselves out of the house and into the car. Mom started the car, and I cracked open a book. Soon, we were on the highway and going to the almost-all-girls school, Krena.

♥♦♥

We pull up in front of what looks like a damn mansion. There's a lovely fountain in the front and timid buildings peeking from the back. Mom parked the car and stepped out. I slammed my book shut and with a glare, took Remi out and into my arms. She giggles at me.

"Well, Mom, we're here. Lets go to the office." She whirled around and shook her head. "You're going alone. I have to take Remi to the hospital now." Mom inched her way towards me and nudged Remi into her arms. "And, good luck." Mom dove into the car and shoved my duffel out. She puts Remi in her booster chair and starts the car.

"Remember, Addison, I love you!" In a flash, Mom drives furiously away, and I have a sinking sensation in my stomach.
