Impossible!

Telling

I was eating my lunch when suddenly, Jade called me up.

"Hey!" She said.

"Huh?" 

"You know what? I kept teasing my brother yesterday that he had a crush on you," Jade told me.

"W-What?! What did 'he' say?" I asked, curiously.

"He said 'no way', but I still teased him, and he said 'If I had a crush, I would tell you right away'." 

I froze and thought, "Through what Jade said, there might be a possibility that he doesn't really like me. I guess, just 1%." 

I felt kind of sad, making Jade worried about me.

"You okay?" She asked, making me nod at her. "I'm okay."

I thought back to myself, "I need to hope. Hope. Hope is what I need. I hope he really likes me back, I hope he really does...!"
