The Secret of the Test

The students gathered around to watch the teachers of Huckleberry High being escorted out in handcuffs.
(Flashback)
I guess I should explain this, and I should also probably explain who I am. My name’s Audrey Razzleberry. I’m a sophomore at Huckleberry High. It all started last month, when our school obtained a new teacher, Mrs. Walnut. She replaced our old literature teacher, Mrs. Morals. No one knows exactly why she left or where she went; all we know is that one day she was in class, and the next she was gone. *poof*

“Where did she go?” asked Ms. Maple.
“Where’s the code?” asked Mr. Russell.
“She agreed to show it to us today!” said Mrs. Huckle.
“I know you’re all stressed about the situation, but the Department of Education informed me that she was involved in some sort of “secret activity,” and we all know what that is. However, we should all be grateful that Mrs. Morals neither told her “code” to them or ratted us out,” explained Principal Huckle.
“Yes, but now how are we to continue with the search. We were so close!” said Ms. Maple.
“We will continue with the original plan,” said Principal Huckle. “After third period, I will continue down to the first floor staircase, and start searching, but don’t get your hopes too high. If the DOE hadn’t interfered then maybe we could be hopeful, but unfortunately they did. Just keep your fingers-crossed and hope for the best. Now, it’s almost eight o’clock, everyone back to class, and make sure to act normally.”
The teachers walked back to their classes still looking around with an optimistic mind that they might come across it on their way. They had no luck, but they still were hopeful that they would find it soon.

The bell rang, signaling the end of third period and the beginning of lunch. Everyone filed out to the cafeteria, but I first had to go to my locker. I walked down the stairs to the first floor, and just as I reached the bottom I tripped and everything came spilling out of my backpack.
Just my luck, I thought.
As I went to pick up my things, I noticed a small piece of red paper near my notebook. I grabbed it and started reading it. It read:
Here is the light at the end of the road
Read very carefully to understand the code:
To solve the puzzle you must shed some light
But only on the twelfth night
Way up high and on the floor
Down the third corridor
At that time you shall see
Something hidden among the debris
Once inside there’s no escape
And the idea of forever will start to take shape
Look inside and you will find
Everything you left behind
But be sure to know
Who’s your friend and who’s your foe
People change under pressure
