The collection made it second highest first weekend grosser of 2016 which is same as the release date total 2, after Salman Khan's Sultan.

Rustom has collected Rs 68.23 crore at the box office during the first weekend, which also included Monday that was a holiday on account of Independence Day which again adds to 1 which is in harmony with Akshay's expression 3 and same as Ileana's birthdate, Life Path & Soul Urge 1.
