you adjusted the camera and then stepped back. you sat down at your desk pulled out a little blue notebook. you read what was in it.
"this is my bucket list.
1. surf in australia
2. visit niagara falls
3. add a lock to the love lock bridge in Paris
4. volunteer in another country
5. watch the sunrise on the beach
6. visit hawaii
7. die happy."
you smiled into the camera. satisfied. happy. determined.
"i'm ready if you are."
