      I analysed her: pretty face, high cheek bones, big beautiful hazel brown eyes, big pink luscious lips, dark skin, and thick waist. Just what I like in a girl. My heart beated, my stomach had the butterflies going crazy.. Maybe it' was just her beauty or I was just high and the high was brightening things up.

  I realized I was staring at her for a good 5 minutes so I closed my mouth shut. I touched my chin ..Thank God I'm not drooling. She smiled with her white shiny teeth. Damn, she got a hypnotizing smile.

     I went to put my Sprayhround weed bookbag on the couch. As I went towards the kitchen, I greeted this beautiful, gorgeous girl.
  "Hi,"

"Hi," she said.

"Sorry, I don't know you. What's your name?" I asked.

"Aida. Yours?"

Pretty name for a pretty girl.

"Ashlee but people call me Ash," I said giving out my hand for her to shake.

"Nice to meet you, Ash," she said while she shook my hand

"Same to you Aida." I said.

I went into the fridge and took out a granny apple. I browsed in the kitchen looking for something else to eat through the brown, wooden cabinets and finished the apple. Where the good shit at? 

I felt Aida's eyes gazing at me as I walked to the light brown couch. Does she smell the weed on me? She followed me as I sat down and almost tripped on the tan rug. She sat on the other side of me and turned on the TV. She flipped through channels and stopped at the news. I can tell she was bored.

  I completed my Algebra II homework. I tried not to make eye-contact but my high ass did anyway. We looked away as Auntie Toya walked into the living room. Perfect timing.

"Hey Ash. Hey Aida." Auntie said.

"Hey Auntie," I said.

"Hey Letoya!" She yelled.

She got up to help Auntie with the groceries.

I checked the time and saw that it was 6 o'clock - time to go home. I grabbed my belongings and said "Bye" to Auntie Toya and Aida.

Aida smiled and winked at me. I looked away too late for her to know that my dark ass was blushing.
As I walked home to the bus stop, Auntie Toya texted me:
    Auntie: I guess ur wondering about who's Aida.
                                                                                    Yeaa, I am :Me 
    Auntie: She's my best friend's daughter. I can tell ya like each other.
                                              Oh really? How u know? :Me
   Auntie: The wink, you blushing and her too. I peep evrything boo.
                                                               Shh, dnt tell. :Me
    Auntie: Lol ok, you home yet?
                                                         Yeaa, I jus got in. :Me
     Auntie: Ii, see you tmm.
                                                                       Ii Auntie :Me

I ringed the bell for Mom to open the door to our aqua-blue building. I walked in our ombre red and purple apartment. As I went farther into the apartment, I smelled food which made my mouth watered automatically. Oh yes!! I threw my backpack on the off-white sofa.

"Hey Mommy," I said as I gave her a kiss on the cheek.

She murmured a "Hi." I guess I made a face because she said, "Yes I'm ok. Just tired."
 
The rainbow painted, wooden table was prepared neatly and organized.  I couldn't even talk. I was mesmerized by the food- baked mac and cheese with fried chicken on the side. I took the fork and stabbed the mac and cheese. As I took one bite, the cheese just oozed onto my tongue. Damn, it taste so good. I continued to eat as if I never ate before. Oh fuck, heartburn.

Mom poured me a glass of Apple Juice and I drinked the whole glass of juice. Ohh, that hit the spot.

I got up to put my dishes into the sink & clean them.  When I was done, I went into the bathroom, took off my clothes, turned on the water, put the radio on, and hopped in. Down On Me by Jeremih ft. 50 Cent played and I sung/rapped along.

When I finished my shower, I stood in the water and thought about Aida.
