Dakota:

"Aria, I'm so sorry. This wasn't supposed to happen," I said.

What else am I supposed to say to someone who just got raped?

The worst part was that this is my fault. I knew Calum was drunk out of his mind and I let him. It was just a friendly game of truth or dare and now I'm responsible for the rape of my own best friend.

A kiss. That's all it was supposed to be.

I shouldn't have let him go. I should've suspected something after he was gone for over ten minutes. Aria was a mess and she was speechless. For once, my best friend had nothing to say. She escaped from my grasp and ran out the door. Ashton finally lets go of Calum. Calum ran out back into the party. I knew Aria was going home. Ashton looked at me.

"So, now what?" Ashton asked.

"We need to get everyone out of here, now. I'm going to Aria's house."

"I'm sorry Dakota."

"It's not your fault. It's mine. She's my best friend and I let this happen. She didn't even want to be here in the first place. God, I'm such a shitty friend."

Ashton pulled me into a tight hug and kissed my forehead.

"It's going to be okay."

"How do you know that? Why does this shit always happen to her?"

"I don't know. I can't answer that. Let's go end this party."

We walked out downstairs and Ashton stood on my dining room table in the middle of the party.

"Everyone! Quiet!" Ashton yelled.

People paid attention for about a second then everyone resumed their dancing.

"Michael! Turn off the music!" I screamed across the room.

Michael noticed me and unplugged the speakers.

"Listen up! I need all of you to get the fuck out of here now!" Ashton yelled.

Everyone gave confused looks at each other and ignored Ashton. Luke came out of nowhere and pushed Ashton off the table. He stood on top and turned on a siren with a bullhorn. Luke caught everyone's attention. This was because everyone feared my brother and Ashton's voice wasn't demanding enough. No matter how loud or angry he was, he always sounded like he was joking. No one could take him seriously. Something that also added to the fear factor was that Luke just got out of jail so no one really wanted to make him angry.

"If you guys don't get the fuck out in about twenty seconds, I'm calling the police for trespassing."

No one did anything until Luke began counting down.

"Nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen," he started to count.

Everyone began rushing to the one door there was to leave the house.

"Two, one and a half, one, zero."

By the time Luke was at ten, everyone had already left. Luke had just continued counting for fun. Ashton, Luke, Michael, and I were the only ones left.

"Can someone explain why I had to stop the best party of the Summer?" Luke asked.

"I'm going to Aria's house. You better cover for me," I responded.

"Not until I get an explanation."

"Why do I have to run everything by you?"

"For fuck sake, Aria got raped. You two give me a headache," Ashton blurted.

"Oh... well that's an exception. I'll see you tomorrow morning."

Luke was still yelling through the horn to piss me off.

"Not to toot my own horn-" Luke began bursting out in laughter at his shitty pun.

"Kill yourself," Michael yelled.

I grabbed my keys that Luke had dangling on his fingers and left the house. I rushed to my car and drove as fast as I could to Aria's. I really owed her big time and I knew I could never fix this one.
