"Angel" (Pokémon: XY series; Ash x Serena)

•Chapter Five• Team Rocket!

Ash, Serena, Bonnie, and Clemont all sat in a food place, eating, feeling very content. They all shrugged off what Serena said earlier, since they didn't understand what she meant. Pikachu and Ash were sharing a fairly large portion of food while everyone had their own stuff.

While eating, nobody was aware that there were people watching- those people being none other than yep, you guessed it, Team Rocket!

They stared at the young trainers through a window with binoculars, trying to make up a plan.

"We could pretend to serve their food? I'll disguise us with my genius makeup skills, and once we're close to them, we'll hide in some place and try to snatch Pikachu." Suggested James.

"They've already got their food, you idiot." Scoffed Jessie.

"Hey! It was just a suggestion! I don't see you making any plans.." James retorted, folding his arms, immediately regretting what he said after remembering it was Jessie he was arguing with.

"Why you little!-" Jessie was about to hit James before she was cut off by Meowth.

"-Will you two shut it? I think I have a plan.. Follow me..." Meowth chuckled rather evily as he hopped out of the bush they were hiding in. James and Jessie followed behind like little lost ducklings.

"Okay, so heres the plan. You two create a diversion with James makeup power watch-i-mi-callets and I'll sneak under their table and grab Pikachu with this net thing. Got it?" Meowth instructed. Jessie and James nodded.

"But what if Pikachu uses his thunder bolts on you?" Questioned James.

"Well, thats why I have this!" He pulled out the net he talked about earlier, it looked pretty fancy. "You see, It deflects any attacks from inside and hits it back at 'em!" Meowth states, proudly. Jessie and James look at him, impressed, not even bothering to ask where he got this net.

"Lets go then."  Said Jessie as they all split up. Jessie and James got into a disguise- they made themselves look like waiters and pretended to fall with trays, drinks stacked ontop right next to Ashes table, making some water spilled on them.

"Oopsie mi' daisies!" Yelled James.

"We're so so so sorry about this! Here, let us help you get cleaned up!" Jessie insisted as she ran to get paper napkins, but slipped on the liquid in the process. "Woah!" She yelled as she fell back. James ran over to her.

"Oh no! Jessie- I mean, Jessiliena! Are you okay??" James panicked.

"Oh, Jerry," Jessie started, being quick to make up a fake name for James. "I think this is it for me..." She sighed, Being very over dramatic. James, also being Dramatic, played along.

"Noooo!" He yelled, his voice full of sadness.

"Goodbye, My friend..." Jessie weakly said as she closed her eyes and stuck out her tongue for effect.

James sat on his knees and looked up. "NOOOO~!" He cried out, as everyone stared at the scene. Meowth just faceplanted and ran under the table.

"Time to catch us a Pikachu. Heheh.." He chuckled evily again. Serena then sensed   some thing, like she usually does when something's wrong. Before Meowth got to Pikachu, Serena took her eyes off the... Uhm... Whatever she just saw, and grabbed the little yellow Pokémon before standing up.

"Hey, guys, lets leave.." She whispered to her friends. They all just nodded and awkwardly walked out of the restaurant, but James and Jessie were too busy being in the spotlight to notice. Meowth sighed and came out from under the table and dragged 'Jerry' and the 'Apparently dead Jessiliena' out of the restaurant. But hey, at least they didn't blast off into space, right?
