TOXIC LIPS
i dreamt of you last night
it reminded me how my name
sounds from your lips
the way you could turn the name i hate
into something glorious
it reminded me how sweet
your smiles and laughters are
that time i dropped
the corniest joke of all time
it reminded me
of how your kisses felt like
that warm sensation
your lips can only bring
and then i woke up
and no dream
needs to remind me
of how those same lips
destroyed me.
