Moonlit Nightmare - Part 16

__ POV

We laid down in bed until 4 on and we finally decided to get up. Dan told me that I should dress nice since he was going to take me out tonight. He said to dress in something casual but nice. I guess that means I'm gonna wear my black ripped jeans and my Cookie Monster jumper. I got out of bed and wrapped a sheet around me. Gotta be sorta modest. Dan looked at me when he was laying down and laughed at me. Damn that's attractive. I laughed back at him and I told him I was gonna go take a shower. He nodded as he got up. He was going to take a shower in the guest bathroom as I took a shower in his. "You sure you don't want me to join you baby?" Dan asked with his puppy dog eyes and I giggled. "Maybe some other time you'll get lucky." I replied to him and we both giggled. I started to take my shower. I washed my hair with some shampoo that smelled like cherry blossoms. That was some good shit right there.

We arrived to where Dan wanted to take me. It was about 9:37 pm and the moon shines bright. He had a picnic set up under a great big oak tree in the middle of an empty field. It was beautiful. There were clouds and stars shining behind them. We sat down and we smiled at each other like idiots. We were drinking wine in mugs. Yep. Very classy. We also had a bunch of chocolate bars that we were eating. We made s'mores and ate those too. "I love you __" "I love you too Dan" We shared a small peck on the lips and looked into each others eyes. "__, Could I ask you something?" "Anything babe." "So you know how we have been together for a little while? Well, I think that I really love you. I think I love you more than anything. You mean the world to me. If I hadn't randomly messaged you we wouldn't be together now. I'm glad I was being a doofus and messaged you." "Aww babe. If I hadn't answered you we wouldn't be together either. I'm glad I replied to you. You are the sunshine to my darkness Dan. I never want to lose you." "__" "Yeah Dan?" "I have a question to ask you." "Ye-" I was suddenly interrupted to my phone ringing. "One second." I answered my phone and it was my dad. It started to rain too. Great. Just my luck. I was listening to my dad talk. He started to yell at me and tell me how much of a failure I am. 'I want your sorry ass to get back here! You hear me! You have no business staying in another place without me knowing! I let you stay gone for a while but I want you to get your ass home. I'm in deep shit now and I need you here to get me out of it. If you aren't her by tomorrow morning you are dead.' And with that he hung up. Dan was looking at me and he saw me start to cry. He got up and came to hug me. I didn't move. "I- I have to go." "What do you mean you have to go?" "I have to go home Dan. My sorry excuse of a father wants me home by the morning or else I'm dead." Dan looked me in my clouded eyes. Our hair was now soaked and hung down on our faces. Dan told me to go back to the car and he would get everything up. I sat in the car for about five minutes before Dan got here. In that time I texted Vanille and told her that we had to leave. She got our tickets and we would leave tonight at 11:30 pm. Dan drove us back to the house and we changed our clothes. I packed everything and was ready to leave but Dan stopped me at the door. "I'm gonna miss you. I wish you didn't have to leave." His eyes teared up as he spoke. "I'm gonna miss you too love." I replied with tears filling my eyes. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around his waist. He then whispered in my ear. "I left a present in your luggage. Don't look at it until you are home." I nodded and kissed him for what seemed like a lifetime. The doorbell rang. It was Vanille. I quickly whispered into dans ear. "I left you a present in your room. Do look until I leave." He nodded. We hugged and kissed again. Once I walked out that door I wanted to burst into tears but I had to stay strong. I have to for Dan.

         ~Time skip~

We boarded the plane and we were headed back to Georgia. I don't want to leave. I want to stay with Dan and all of my new friends. I knew it all would end one day but I didn't want that day to be today. I wish I was with the people I love.
