Kitten

Luke's POV:
I kicked a pebble outside of the palace. I'm so bored. I have nobody to talk to because everyone is afraid of me. I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Luke. My full name is Prince Luke Robert Hemmings. I'm the Prince of the vampires. I'm 17 and turning 18 soon and I'm competing with my older brothers over who gets to be King.

A sudden noise made me jump in turn around. It was coming from behind one of the rose bushes. I bent down and moved some of the leaves away to see a tiny kitten hiding behind an old crate. "Hello little kitten" I whispered. "What are you doing out her all alone" I asked it reaching my hand out. It hissed and cowered behind the crate. "Shhhh I won't hurt you I promise" I whispered picking it up. It was quite adorable. With its grey and white fur and icy blue eyes. I walked into the palace period behind the kittens tiny ears. She purred and leaned into my chest. I smiled and brought up the grand staircase and down the hall to my bedroom. I put her down and threw a few blankets in the floor for her. I filled a small bowl with milk and one with some tuna I found. I carried the kitten into my bathroom and washed her dirty fur with a wet rag. When she was all clean u brought her back into my room and laid her in her blankets. She snuggled deeper into them and j smiled at how cute she was. I took off my shoes and changed into clean boxers and a pair of shorts before getting in my bed. "Goodnight Kitten" I whispered before falling into a peaceful sleep.
