Elina Winston Dorchester P.O.VWhen I first shifted today, at 17 years old. It felt scary, exciting. A whole mix of emotions. My dad wasn't home, so he didn't know anything about me shifting. I was able to talk to my inner wolf, fairy, vampire, mermaid, human I guess you'd call it conscious, Witch and ancient Healer. They actually got along pretty well, my wolf was named Ashlin, a beautiful name as I was an ash gray wolf with stunning black eyes looking like they could just suck you in. My fairy, Aurora was a quiet respectable girl. She waited to speak and listened to others. My vampire is one word, crazy. Her name is Earlis. It's just like saying Earless when saying her name which is funny because she wouldn't listen. She was totally crazy, so we had to block her out. She was hyper from the sweet candy smell. Which was someone's blood? My mermaid Yolanda was urging to go for a swim, but I shifted to my wolf, as time came so I couldn't go for a swim in the lake. My witch Corinne was busy doing something, so I didn't even bother to ask her. I was gonna ask her later, and my ancient Healer Lauryn was talking about teaching me how to heal someone later.
I shifted back, thinking about my body. My black hair that ended at my shoulder, my pale pink full lips, my fair cheekbones, my cute butt, that was not flat but not that big. It was just perfect. My boobs weren't flat but weren't that big either. It was suitable for my petite body. I shifted back, and I was naked. I hurried and changed when I heard him.
My dad coming home. I heard a loud crack, it was a beer bottle breaking, shattering on the wood plank floor. Then, there was a loud 'thud'. My dad fell onto the floor, where the glass was near him. Some glass got him, and he started to have cut around his body. They healed due to him being a. Werewolf, yes. A werewolf. As he is an old werewolf, his senses have been weaker, almost like a human's but not yet. He could still hear under a meter radar, while normal werewolves could hear at least 3 meters. My dad passed out because he had too much to drink. I hurriedly made my way to the glass and cleaned the glass up. Throwing the glass into the garbage can in the kitchen. I then went to my dad and had him lean over to me, as I grabbed his arm and put it around my neck, making my way to the living room, where there was a black leather couch. I gently put him down on the couch, before grabbing some beers from the garage and bringing them to the fridge.
'Hey, he always naps and wakes up in like 2 hours, so can we go for a swim?' Yolanda asked.
'No, he might wake up earlier today. You never know.' I replied.
I went upstairs and packed my school bag for school tomorrow as today was a Sunday. I heard a groan, and I knew it was my dad. He always groans, and then he usually wakes up 45 minutes later. I hurried down the stairs and quickly made him dinner. I made him a steak, medium-rare the way he likes it, with 2 shakes of salt on it. I opened the drawer and saw the beer opener. I grabbed it and closed the drawer, and getting the beer from the fridge, it should be cold by now. I hurriedly opened it, dropping the beer opener back into the same drawer. I then put the beer top into the garbage and put the steak on the table, with the beer from Budweiser. He was awake, now. And heading to the kitchen.
"Is my dinner ready?" He asked while slurring as he was still a little drunk.
I nodded. My face was void of emotion. He sat down, eating. He looked at me, raising an eyebrow.
"Scram." He said to me, monotone.
I walked upstairs and opened a box. It was filled with things of my mother and me. When I was little, she died from cancer. This drove my loving father into an abusive father.
