Everyone inside the city belongs to a faction. Amity- the peaceful. Abnegation- the selfless. Candor- the honest. Erudite- the smart. And Dauntless- the brave. At the age of 16, every citizen must either defect from, or stay in their faction of birth, and live there for the rest of their life.
Beatrice and Tobias choose to stay in their faction of birth- Abnegation. What will be the same as if they chose differently? What will change?
