***Arie's POV***

Pain pain pain and more pain.  Dickface decided to come in after the bitch shocked me for about an hour and he likes the crop.  I've gotten to the point that I don't even care about their names.  The bitch's wolf still hasn't popped up no matter how hard I've tried to reach it.  The guy that I saw first I haven't seen since the torture started.  I can occasionally hear his wolf talk to him but I try to not interfere with their conversation.  I had been waiting for another message from Michael or Akin to see where they were but I have yet to hear from them.

If you didn't suppress me we'd be out of this mess by now. Cassie said.  She's starting to get on my nerves.  Blood was everywhere in this room from the hits of the hooked crop.  He about ripped a rib out actually.  That one created the sensation of being stabbed with a red hot iron in my left lung.  Years of abuse from my parents for going into the basement has allowed me to train my brain to block out pain.  Sometimes though, the pain is so great that no matter what I do, I can't seem to block it out.

"Ready to tell us when your parents are going to show up?" He growled in my ear.  His breath brushed across my face and my nose scrunched up at the stench while my stomach rolled.

"No idea, though you probably have time to brush those teeth, tooth decay is real and I'm sure you have a lot of it going on in your mouth right now."  I said. I was expecting the slap so it didn't stun me so much.  The tingling feeling on my cheek signified the development of a red hand print.  I rubbed the inside of my cheek with my tongue in an attempt to prevent bruising.

"You know what would really piss off your dear sweet parents? If I turned their dear sweet daughter into the very thing they hunt." He said as he turned around.  His blue t-shirt covered in blood splatters hugged his large frame, accenting all the muscles hiding beneath as he moved.

"See, that probably wouldn't bother them if you could do that but since you can't it won't matter anyway." I said.

"Oh but a werewolf can turn a human into one of its own." He said with a laugh, if that's what you called it, it sounded more like a witch's cackle to me.

"You can, but only if your mate is human to allow the two souls to live longer together rather than one of the mates die long before the other causing the other mate to either die or slip into insanity before dying anyway." I remarked back to him.

"Au contraire my dear, while that may have been true for a long time, wolves are starting to come up with an injection to turn humans into wolves.  It's a bit more painful though and is still being tested because humans tend to die more than actually shifting." He said with a grin while pulling out a syringe from a tray on the table. The liquid inside was a cloudy red, like coagulated blood. I never felt so much fear go through me than when I saw that vial. Not when my parents first threatened to drag me across the floor of the basement and they did indeed do so, or when I woke up one morning and I couldn't hear the animals. The fear that I lost my abilities was so great that I didn't take any medication for two weeks to get it back. But this was so much worse, I still wanted to go to the ocean and help marine life. The blood could easily kill me, my blood type was O negative, a universal donor but I could only take one blood type. Pain shot through me as he neared me with the syringe, my body temperature was at a lethal level and I was losing more blood than I was replenishing.

"Oh, is the princess starting to worry now? Don't worry, we've heard that the pain only last 2.5 hours if your survive, it can last up until 7 hours if you die." He let out a laugh while the bitch sat there chewing on a toothpick.
