"Angel" (Pokémon: XY series; Ash x Serena)

•Chapter Six• Lost

A/N: Sorry! I'm not doing the picture edit things anymore because I'm lazy! :D

Nobody's P.O.V-

It had been a few hours since they all left the restaurant. It was dark out. It was cold. Everyone was inside, except Serena. Serena was at a nearby dock. She sat outside, looking up to the sky, thinking.

"Serena?" A voice spoke up, making Serena jump. She turned around to see a tall dark shadow. "What are you doing, Serena?"
"Serena!"
"Serena!"
"Hehe!"
It asked as two other high pitched voices followed behind, calling her name and giggling. The two high pitched voices sounded slightly like children.

"What are you doing here?" Serena looked at them dead in their glowing eyes, showing no emotion.

"You're not happy to see us, Serena~?" It said, stretching out the sentence, sounding as if it was pouting.
"Serena doesn't."
"Like us."
The two other high pitched voices finished each others sentence.

"Serena!" Serena's eyes moved from the shadow to Ash whom was running towards her, he had a big toothy smile plastered on his face while he waved. As he got closer, he passed right through the shadow.

"We'll.."
"Be.."
"Back."
The three voices added together. They made sure to make the 'back' sound rough instead of high pitched and creepy. They then disappeared into thin air.

"Serena, are you okay? You look mad?" Ash tilted his head.

"Oh?" Serena put a smile back on after realising her expression. "Sorry, it's nothing!"

"Are ya sure?"

"Yeah!" Serena confirmed with a big grin

Ash returned the smile. "Good! Anyways, I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go on a walk or something?"

"Oh, sure!" Serena blushed. "Where to?"

"Uh, I hadn't really thought of that.." He chuckled. "Maybe just go on a wonder? Wherever we end up, I'm sure we'll find our way back!" Ash smiled, making Serena laugh.

"Let's do it!"

Two hours later-

"It's getting kinda late... Should we head back..?" Serena suggested.

"Yeah, lets go." Ash smiled as he turned around and started walking, only to end up smashing his face into a tree. "EH?!" Ash looked around. They were in a forest?

"How the heck did we get here?" Serena asked, shocked as she looked at her surroundings.

"I can't remember walkin' into a forest? Last time i checked we were walking through the city?" Ash questioned.

"Thats what I thought!" Serena pointed out.

Ash shrugged. "Oh well, I'm sure we'll find our way out!" He smiled.

"Yeah!" Serena returned the grin.

The two then walked around the woods, having no luck of getting out.

"It's hopeless, we're stuck." Ash sighed.

"No we're not! Never give up until the end!" Serena smiled. She remembered a while back, before she had came here when she was little. She went to a Pokémon camp sort of idea. She met a boy there, and thats the words he told her. Its a shame she can't remember what his name was.. Or what he looked like..

Ash widened his eyes at the familiar words spoken. Where had he heard that from? He shook off the thought and smiled. "Yeah!"

"Look! Over there!" Serena pointed. "I see lights! Maybe its city lights!" Serena got excited and Ash jumped up.

"Lets check it out!" Ash ran towards the light as Serena followed.

"Were we right? Are we bac-" Serena asked Ash as she pushed through a bush, but stopped herself as she looked at the sight. Hundreds of fireflies lit up the sky. It was beautiful. "Wow..."

Ash stared at the fireflies in awe. Serena looked at him and smiled. She then stood next to him and they looked at each other happily. Serena stared deep into his eyes.

"Ash!" Serena blurted out.

"What?" He tilted his head.

"Its you... Oh my gosh... Its- its you!"

"Eh?" Ash kept his head tilted.

"At Camp a few years back! Remember me? The girl who fell and got lost?"

"Serena..." Ash stared.

Serena leaped into his arms. "I can't believe I didn't recognise you before!"

"Me too!" Ash hugged her back.

They both sat down and talked about their experience at camp. Eventually, the two became tired. Serena laid her head on Ash's shoulder and Ash laid his head on her head.

"Goodnight, Serena..."

"Night, Ash.."
