"Josh, I don't think I can. I mean, last time with me climbing and the show ending early. This isn't even our concert Josh. What if-"

"Tyler, I'll be behind you the whole time. You'll do fine," Josh promised with a warm smile.

Tyler took in a deep breath, giving Josh a hesitant glance.

"Fine. Alright, let's go."

He gave Josh a big grin before going out to perform their first song on the list.

-

"Is it safe for me to crowd surf?" Tyler stalled, talking into the earpiece he and Josh shared so no one but them could hear.

The crowd was all over the place, screaming profanities and taking off their shirts flashing them.

Josh stalled the empty space with a drum beat. "You're gonna be fine. You love this part, Tyler."

Tyler stood in front of the crowd.

The screaming, thick, packed crowd.

"But it's not like our shows. They don't know us."

Josh sighed, flipping a stick in the air before hitting his drums again.

"You'll be fine. I promise."

Tyler trusted Josh.

He put one foot in the crowd.

One foot.

And he was already pulled off of the stage.

"LET ME GO!" Tyler yelled at the 17 year old guy who was grabbing desperately onto Tyler's foot.

"Take his shoe!" his friend yelled, chugging a can of beer.

They took his shoes. Both of them.

The security took care of the two guys but they didn't give back Tyler's shoes. Tyler sighed, climbing back on stage.

"Josh, they're wild."

Josh made a small beat. "You'll be fine. Avoid the older dudes, they're most likely drunk."

Tyler nodded.

"Let's try this again. Please don't pull me down," Tyler announced to the crowd.

There were a few cheers and a lot of people shouting "Okay, daddy."

They weren't like the clique. They were wild, drunk, scavenging beasts. Tyler prayed he wouldn't get hurt. The only thing not keeping him from crowd surfing is Josh's trust and promise.

Tyler didn't know it, but Josh was actually more scared than Tyler was. He didn't want Tyler to get hurt but he figured if they did do anything to him, it wouldn't be that serious.

The song cut to the middle. Fucking BBC and their shit equipment.

Tyler walked to the left where he noticed some people from the clique. Smiling, he stepped foot in the crowd.
