Ian had noticed that as of late joji had been feeling like shit, at first he had hoped that joji would come to him and tell him or at least talk to Max or Chad about it.
But as the days passed and joji grew more and more depressed it became clear that he wasn't gonna aproach anyone about his condition, so on a fine sunny day at a quarter to 3 o'clock he had aproached max about it and mac had said to invite joji over and talk then, ian decided this would be the best course of action and later that night had called joji and told him if he wanted to meet up at his house, at first joji seemed hesitant wondering what the reason was but after some convincing he accepted.
Ian hung up extatic and prepared his house for his friends arrival, about 2 hrs later ian heard a nock at his door and took a deep breath and opened the door. He was greeted by joji smiling at him, looking pale and bags under his eyes "hey cunt, how are ya?" Ian smiled back at him "not to bad coin eyes, you?" Joji gave a nod signaling he was ok and the two stood there staring at each other for what in ian's head felt like hours. Joji cleared his throat to break the silence "so..you gonna let me in or we just gonna stand here?" He looked the other way to hide his embarrassment, it was ian's turn to blush "r..right, c.come in" joji smiled and stepped inside, walking into the kitchen and grabbing himself and ian a beer before accompaning ian in his couch.
He handed ian the beer and took a swig before he spoke "so ian..what's this about? You said you wanted to speak to me about some thing on the phone so..what is it?" Ian took a swig as well and sighed, mentally preparing himself for the conversation ahead that he knew was not gonna be easy, choosing his words carefully he spoke "look joji..I noticed that you've been acting..different". Joji looked at ian a bit nervously" what are you talking about dude, I'm fine I've just been working to much that's all" ian frowned and took the beer from joji's hand "joji don't lie to me, I k OW you to well and I can tell when your lying tell me what's wrong, please I want to help you", joji started to panic and got up..Ian didn't chase him knowing joji would get more upset "look ian I'm fine really I am, it's just from work honest..lookout I better go".
Joji began to get up but was stopped ian's hand on his shoulder, ian sat him down and held him there so joji would hear him and he was determined to be heard "joji look, I know you want to appear tough in front of the world, believe me I do hell I do to at times..but I'm not everyone I'm not the world I'm your friend, and as far as I'm concerned your not ok your hurt, now you may think that your friends don't or won't understand but we do..and that's why I'm here, to listen to you and be there for you, because george miller your beautiful, your special your an amazing singer and human being and if I had to pick between you or all the girls in the world I'd pick you..because they could never compare to you because to me your everything, your my sky, my air, my world..George to me your the moon".
When ian finished he was expecting joji to yell at him, slap him, anything really l, but what he didn't expect was joji looking at him with sparkly eyes,tears in em "em..sorry about that l.if you want you ca.." joji started laughing and rubbing the tears away " wow ian..do you really mean all that?" He continued to laugh and ian joined in the laughter "heh, I guess so.." they continued to laugh for another 2 minutes before they calmed down and sighed.
Joji smiled at ian and kissed his cheek "thank you ian, I really needed to hear you say that" ian blushed and smiled "it was nothing joji..so..wanna watch a movie?". Joji nodded and curled up next to him "it would like to but..it prefer just staying here with you like this " ian looked at joji and pulled him into a hug "i do to".
