Is this how its suppose to be? I'm not suppose to be this, I'm not suppose to be put through this, I've lived being semi-normal, now that's been taken away from me as well. Everyone was once again, looking at me weirdly.
"I don't know, okay. Its rare for this to happen."
"What's your name kiddo?", the guy said.
"Kayleigh."
The man crosses his arms over his chest," well, the names Derek."
My eyes widened as I looked at him," Derek?", he looked at me weirdly," as in Derek Hale?"
"Yes", he doesn't remember, he doesn't remember the times we had, when he left his house after it got burned down, well, semi-burned down, it wasn't its natural color anymore. He doesn't remember anything to do with me.
"How do you lot do this?", I looked around at everyone, "stay so calm, you all kept it under control, but I'm freaking out. Yes most of you are werewolves, but I never was, haven't you been able to smell it on me?"
All the werewolves looked at each other, " Kayleigh, we didn't want to you to freak out", Scott said trying to calm me down.
"Well, you failed Scott, I think it would have helped if I found out straight away, I think I'm going to go home."
"okay, but be careful."
"The suns out Scott, I'll be fine." I wasn't fine, I didn't want this, I didn't want to be like them, I wanted to be how I was before, I didn't want this, yes I was interested, but I don't want some power. I also had no ride home, Stiles had brought me here, and he's no longer here, so I was outside sitting against the wall with my phone dead next to me, I couldn't ring Luke to pick me up, I don't think I could, he probably would be happy that I'm making friends, but probably mad with the fact that I've made friends with people he wont entirely trust after the night that had past.
But as the voices started coming from the building I stood up and ran, not realizing that I had left my phone lying on the ground. As the voices that belonged to my friends got louder, I knew they were outside and I was glad I made it into an alley in time, I said I was going to go home, but right now, I cant. Engines started running as bikes and cars drove away, I came out of hiding to go get my phone hoping no one was left. I was wrong. My phone was no longer lying on the ground where I was last sitting, but it was resting in Derek's hand as he looked at me.
"Didn't leave huh?"
"I couldn't, Stiles brought me here. And as you could tell, he's no longer here", Derek tossed my phone over to me and I rushed to catch it, gladly I did, it would have smashed on the ground, Luke would scream at me.
"I'll take you home", He said from the distance he was still standing at.
"No, no, no you don't need to do that, I'll find my way home."
"You've got school, I'm not letting you walk through this town alone", I didn't want to walk through this town alone either, so I obliged and follow him to the dark car off to the side.
"Thanks Derek", I said as I got out of the door of the car.
"Who's that?", he was looking over to the porch where Luke was standing.
"That's my brother, you probably don't know him."
"Luke?", he looked back over to me as my eyes widened.
"You remember?", he might not entirely remember me, but he remember's Luke, and maybe, just maybe he might end up remembering me.
"Yeah, we were friends after my house burned down."
