"Dinner for two, please."

I held onto Mike's hand tightly, my head placed on his shoulder. My eyes locked on the hostess ahead of us, guiding us to a secluded table. I tried to shield my smile, failing miserably. My lips tugged upwards, pure excitement running through my veins. Unable to get over this. Process it as reality.

We went through the back doors, walking along the stone pathway. A glowing gazebo in our view. I smiled in absolute awe, a chill crawling up my spine.

The hostess left us to our own activities. We took our seats across from each other, our hands meeting in the center of the table. Fingers entwined.

"Why did you do this?" I asked, squeezing his hands strongly. My thumb running across his bare skin.

Mike smiling slyly, "Just because I love you."

I giggled, "Mm. . . That was so cheesy."

Mike grinned innocently, "I know. . ." He murmured.

"Is there another reason?" I asked, sneaking a smirk. Desiring a more elaborated, romantic reason.

"Because. . ." Mike begun, gazing into my eyes lovingly. "I wanted a special, just me and you, night. And we haven't done anything like this in a while, so. . ."

I smile, leaning closer to him. "That's better, babe. . ."

Mike smiled, leaning in with me, going to kiss my lips. When I pulled away, smirking childishly.

Mike pouted, looking at me with slight disappointment, "Tease."

I giggled, offering a quick peck to his lips. Past then, the night started. The waiter came to take our orders. The entrées coming out fairly quickly.

I had a small bite of my meal, looking up to Mike, a comical smile coming across my features.

"Should've ordered some spaghetti, babe." I giggled.

Mike stifled a little laugh, "Not necessary for me to get a kiss from you."

I rolled my eyes, "It's romantic."

Mike let a little giggle emit, "Yeah, well. . ."

I smirked, rubbing his arm gently. "Make up for it." I said, winking

Mike smiled, growling jokingly. "Ohh. . . Fun. . ."

We ate our meals beyond then, all smiles. Chatting, and laughing with each other. Enjoying each other's company. Just hanging out afterwards for a good three hours.

We went out from there on a walk from the restaurant. Wandering the empty streets. Checking out all the stores around us. When we cams across something that attracted Mike specially.

The public pool. The gates closed, the outside still lit up by neon lights. Mike looked back to me, smiling. Seeking mischief. Approaching the gate.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Sneaking in." Mike replied, starting to climb the gate. I couldn't get over him.

"You're insane. . ."

"Come on!" He cooed encouragingly, gesturing me to follow as he reached the top, hopping over.

"Mike. . ."

"You're a good climber, right? Come on!" Mike stood on the other end with open arms, waiting patiently for me to come willingly.

"This is such a bad idea. . ."

"Why?" Mike asked. "No one's here. We're alone. It's okay! Come on! Please?"

I crossed my arms, giving him a stern look. Fighting the urge to just join him.

"You won't regret this." Mike said.

"And what if I do?"

Mike sighed, "Just do it. . ." He stuck out his bottom lip. "For me. . ."

I smiled, rolling my eyes, stepping forward. "I'm gonna kick your ass if this goes wrong." I said alarmingly, starting to climb over. Hearing him cheer, feeling his smirk.

I reached the top, looking down to him. His arms still open.

"Come on!" He cooed. "I'll catch you."

I smiled, "Let's see about that."

I took a leap forward, the distance to the ground not extremely far. So if he fails to catch me, it won't be too major.

To my surprise, he was actually successful. I landed into his welcoming arms.

"See? I told you."

I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling myself closer to him. "Alright, we're in. Now what?"

Mike set me down on the ground gently, pulling himself away from me. "We swim."

I looked to him with slight disbelief, waiting to see his next move.

He removed his shirt, eyes on me to do something similar. I giggled, just watching him. Arms crossed.

He charged himself up, taking a few steps away from the pools edge. Bolting forward, and diving into the ice cold water. Disappearing under with a splash. Coming right back up fairly quick.

"Fuck, this is cold!" He shrieked, his body shivering. "Sam, you gotta come in here!"

I approached the pools edge, kneeling down, "I'd rather stay warm, and dry.."

I expected nothing less than him splashing me. And that's exactly what he did. I yelped. "Well, your not dry.. Or warm so you might as well come in." He laughed, swimming closer to me.

I shivered, hugging myself tightly. "Are you serious? Michael!"

"Come on in, babe! That's all I'm asking." Mike said, no guilt felt whatsoever.

"Fine." I said, coming to my feet. "You want me to come in, I'll come in. Just know, you owe me one."

Mike nodded, accomplished, "M'lady."

I rolled my eyes, removing my soaked shirt, and wet jeans. Hopping in with Mike. Coming in front of him.

He pecked my lips, arms coming around me. I shivered, shoulders lifting up. "This is freezing. . ." I complained.

He sighed, "Do you regret this?"

I shrug, my body trembling with cold temperature. "Sort've."

"How can I make that sort've become a no?" Mike asked, smiling slightly.

I sigh, "Keep me warm. . . And get me the hell out of here, without a problem."

Mike nodded, "I'll do everything in my power to keep you warm."

"What about the other thing?"

Mike gave me a look, "Relax. . . Nothing bad is going to happen."
