As you know my name is Quin Blakely, I have black raven hair that glistens in the moonlight and vibrant violet eyes. When I was younger I had brown hair and green eyes but that was before the 'awakening'. The 'awakening' was on my 10 birthday. I was at my house sleeping when I felt this pain erupt all over my body. I let an ear piercing scream escape my lips before my parents burst through the door. "Quin what's wrong!" my mother screamed from the door. They rushed to my side examining me for any injuries. The pain was becoming too unbearable, 'Let me out' a voice whispered in my mind. I easily complied and set free whatever was inside of me. I felt my soul being pushed back into the depths of my mind, but the weird thing was that I could still see and hear everything that was going on. 'My name is Clementine and I shall assist you whenever you need me' the voice said again. My body stilled, the only noise in the room was the sound of my ragged breaths.
The silence only lasted a mere few seconds before another scream made its way into the air. 'You must release the power from within to make the pain disappear' Clementine whispered. Ignoring the calls from my parents, I closed my eyes and tried to find the source of the pain. When I opened my eyes I was surrounded by darkness. "Hello?" I called out, a large glowing sphere appeared before me floating at least two feet off of the ground. 'Release the power Quin' Clementine's voice echoed in my head. I put my hands on the sphere and imagined the sphere spreading through the darkness. I jolted awake to find two bodies laid on the ground by my bed. I peered closer and saw that they were my parents, "Mom, Dad, come on guys it's not funny." a single tear drop slid down my cheek followed by what seemed to be a thousand more. "I did this, it was.....me." I whispered staring at my hands in horror and continued to cry.
That was six years ago and ever since then I have been living in alleyways, abandoned houses, even parks. That day I lost my parents, my house, and my reasons for living, but I also made myself a promise, I will avenge my parents by protecting those who can't protect themselves. Right now I'm at a diner here in Gotham city. This diner is known for their burgers and since I know one of the waitresses I don't have to pay for my food. "Hey QB, the usual?" Betty asked me. Betty is a middle aged woman who has known me ever since my parents died. She took me in and sometimes gives me money when I need something. She's like a mother to me and I'm like her daughter since she doesn't have any kids. I just nodded making sure I kept hold of my hoodie so it could cover most of my face. A few minutes passed when she finally brought me my food, a triple cheeseburger with some curly french fries. Using my super hearing I heard somebody ready a gun. I stood from my seat and yelled "Everybody get down!" Everyone quickly got under the tables except the gunman. I walked towards his seat and took in his features. He was wearing a baggy hoodie much like mine but his was a little too big. All I could see were his thin ruby lips curve into a mischievous grin. "Who are you?" I asked the figure who just replied with a gut wrenching laugh, he looked up at me with his bold green eyes.
The second his eyes met my own I knew exactly who he was, he was The Joker. He raised his gun and pointed it straight at my head. "Now we're going to go outside and have a little chat. Okay?" I nodded my head, turned around, and started walking to the door. Once we made it outside I turned back around to face him finding him looking straight at me. 'Let me go and I will end him' Clementine declared. 'Don't kill him' I mentally said back. 'As you wish master, now let me out'. I closed my eyes and felt the familiar sting that always came when I let Clementine out. My hair turned white and my once violet eyes turned blood red. Clementine opened her eyes and looked at the face of a cowering Joker. He clutched the gun with trembling hands as he never dropped Clementine's gaze. Clementine was a trained assassin who was embedded in me until my awakening when she came to life. She was made to serve me and only me unless I give her permission, she can do far more than fight. Many of her powers are like mine like her power to copy anyone's powers with a simple touch, telepathy, and super strength.
But Clementine does have her own powers to like portal generation, duplication, and fire-breathing. Clementine slowly walks towards the Joker staring him straight in the eye. As fast as lightning she grabs the gun, throws it to the side and pins him to the ground. "Is that all you got sweet cheeks?" Clementine turns around and sees the infamous Harley Quinn in all her glory. "Now I suggest you let go of my special Puddin' before I bonk you on the head." She smiled sickly at us while holding her gigantic mallet, before Harley could even move Clementine took in a large breath. When she breathed out a bright fire appeared in place of the air. The crimson substance turned the wooden mallet into a pile of ash in mere seconds. Harley's smug face turned into one of pure fear, 'Give me back control' I told Clementine. 'As you wish master'. I felt my hair turn back to it's dark raven color and my eyes turn to their original violet color. I looked back at Joker and quickly knocked him out, then started to stand up to address Harley. As fast as ever I created a glistening force-field around her proceeding to make it smaller until the pressure was to much for her and she fell limp.
I walked towards the large crowd that had gathered and swiftly concealed myself within the group. I walked into an alley and sat down. I picked up one of the backpacks that I have stashed around the city for my own needs. The backpack had money, food, water, and some clothes that I collected over the years. I stopped going through the bag when I heard the sound of heavy footsteps. Judging by the vibrations I could tell that it was a male and he was about 14 years old. I quickly zipped up my backpack and looked toward the exit of the alley. Standing there was none other than the famous Robin in his costume. "Afraid to bother you, but I need to ask you some questions about what just happened back there." He said pointing to the direction of where I just came from. "I'm good but it was nice meeting you Red," I stated before walking out of the alley. I had just taken a few steps before I felt something prick my neck. Next thing I know I am taken over by darkness and fall into the arms of my captor.
