A few days later Arielle was released from the hospital,she called alex and set up a meeting.
Alex arrived at 2pm, they sat at a table.
"What do you want Arielle?"
"I don't want anything alex,i have been spending sometime thinking after I lost the baby and I have come to a decision, I am giving up on this vendetta against you and rena, it hurt when you didn't come to visit me at all in the hospital, it is said actions speak louder than words and yours did, all you cared about was the baby and I just want to say I am sorry for the way I have behaved and the trouble I caused between you and rena"
Alex sat there in shock, after all this woman put him through he couldn't believe she was apologizing.
"Arielle, I have known you for a longtime and something doesn't add up"
"What?"
"Are you and Ian involved?"
Arielle had a feeling this was coming " yes, I love him and we have been together for a while now, he came up with the plan to break up rena and yourself I went along with it cause, I didn't want to disappoint him and I wanted you to suffer the way I did"
Alex could not believe that after all these years Ian was still determined to destroy him for his past mistake, he looked into Arielle's eyes and saw how remorseful she really was, he reached over the table and grabbed her hands, Arielle looked at him "thank you for being real,i want you to know I forgive you and don't hold anything against you I wish you all the happiness in the world"
Alex got up from his chair, walked over to her pulled her to stand and kissed her on the cheek "you're not such a bad person after all"smiled and walked away.
