Silently she lay there waiting for the door knob to turn and praying that tonight isn't one of those nights that dark shadow enters her bedroom.

It's been a long time since the little girl was put to bed, you can see the glimmer of hope in her eyes, tonight isn't one of those nights.

She began to drift to sleep, when there was a click, the light under the door has turned to dark. Moments later in walks the figure. The smell of alcohol filled the room and the little girl lay terrified. She clutched her bed sheets and prepared herself for what was about to happen to her.

Unknowns p.o.v

10 years later

As Rosie pulled up in front of my new school, the butterflies kicked in and I felt nervous but most of all I felt sick. Questions swirling around in my head; what if people hate me?; what if people find out about my past?; what if I don't fit in?. I can't deal with this anymore.

I jumped as a hand was placed gently on my shoulder taking me out of my train of thoughts.

"Don't worry babe, everything will be okay, any sign of trouble you call me and I'll be straight here" she said while giving me a reassuring smile. I smiled back and replied with a simple thank you and got out of the car. That's the thing I love about Rosie she has always got my back, even if I act really off with her she knows it's not my fault.

I looked around and there was people everywhere, I began to get more nervous.

As I was walking into school, there was a group of about 6 lads stood there smoking. "Oioi lads, look what we have here fresh meat" I turned around as another lad has hit his chest ' yo haz what was that for?" "Never call me haz again or I'll put you on your arse an leave the poor girl alone she don't want dick'eds like you saying shit like that on her first day" replied a sexy raspy voice, I began to smile as he turned around and smiled back at me. Damn. He's something. With that I quickly walked off and went into school.

Harry's pov

"Never call me haz again or I'll put you on your arse an leave the poor girl alone she don't want dick'eds like you saying shit like that on her first day" I said while hitting tom in the chest. Why is that little weirdo even with us? None of us even like him, kind of feel sorry for the kid though.

As I turned around I met a pair of beautiful green eyes, and this girl had a beautiful smile to match. I hope Tom didn't get to her, because she quickly walked off. I hope she's okay.

"HARRY?!"

"What?" I shrugged.

"Finally after the 100th time? You coming in or what?"

Louis really over exaggerates sometimes but he's a good kid

Lesson one, geography with Miss Francis. The only lesson I like and the only teacher I like.
