"Fuck.. What happened while we were sleeping" Zendaya questioned with concern, plopping down beside Lauren on the blanket and pillow filled couch.

Dinah walked from the back while wiping her eyes sleepily and gasped when she saw Laurens set up on the couch "Lo... What happened?"

The Latina sat up and pulled the blankets from under Zendaya's butt before leaning her elbows on her knees and slouching over "Look I reaaaaally don't want to talk about it"

She wiped the crud out of her eyes with her palms. Most likely her eyes felt that way from the dried up tears that she had been releasing all night, not allowing her to get any sleep.

She felt like death. She blamed herself for letting things with Normani get like this. It was her fault. If she just wouldn't have constantly questioned and picked small arguments, they wouldn't have led to bigger ones and she would be asleep right now with Normani wrapped in her arms.

Both Zendaya and Dinah looked on to her longingly and confused. They wanted to help but they had no idea what was going on or the seriousness of the situation.

They had no idea that Lauren was up crying all night. They had no idea that Normani was up crying right now as she threw her things into her totes.

They had no idea that Normani was leaving today. That she had just got off of the phone with Choie and she said that she could stay there how ever long she needed.

They had no idea that their friends relationship was in complete shambles.

"I'm sorry Lo.." Zendaya grabbed her shoulder and squeezed it "just talk to us when you feel like it, we'll be here for you"

Dinah was fuming on the inside. She was so sick of the pointless arguments and the bickering back and forth between the two. She loves both of them and she wanted them together like they belonged.

Without saying anything else she stood up and made her way to Normani and Laurens room. She walked in without knocking and saw the brown girl wiping a tear away.

Normani never knew that Lauren would agree so easily to this break. In all honesty she didn't want to leave. The break suggestion was supposed to give Lauren a scare into backing off and letting her spend as much time as she needed dancing with out the constant questions.

But Lauren said okay. She was willing to let Normani leave with no fight and that hurt.

It hurt but it wasn't surprising. Lauren never fought for what she wanted. Normani always fought her battles for her.

That was one trait of the Latina that Normani didn't find super.

So until the day when Lauren grows some balls and tells Normani to bring her ass back home, they will be on a break.

Normani wanted Lauren to fight. To be strong enough to fight for what she wanted and needed and both of those things were Normani.

The Polynesian shut the door behind her and walked over to the brown girl "Mani.. What's going on?" She questioned softy.

The brown girl immediately wiped her eyes fast three times, trying to hide the fact that she was crying. "What do you mean?"

"Well for one look at you.." She said analyzing the watery red eyes "You never cry unless it's serious & two why is Lo sleeping on the couch? It can't be that bad mani"

The brown girl frowned her face "It's bad.. It's all bad Dinah" she spoke softly and quickly wiped another tear away "I wish I didn't choose a double major and I wish Trevor's ass never came here.. I just wanted her to trust me enough and trust our fucking fourteen year relationship to know that I would never do anything to hurt her especially with someone so irrelevant. I know we're friends and all and he's Zendaya's cousin but if he wasn't required to dance with me, I would say fuck him so fast. Dinah and she just doesn't get that" she whined out as she spoke the entire time.
