16 year old, Alice Wingott had a great childhood and a good start to her teenage years. Today was the day she turned 16 and tonight was time to PARTY.
She woke up to many birthday texts but there was one that stood out. There was no number or name, apart from 'anonymous'. It read:
7:20am
'Happy Birthday Alice! Watch out because your "sweet 16th" may turn sour if you don't watch out'

What did they mean by that? What will happen tonight? Will something go wrong?
I guess she will have to find out tonight.
Alice was off school for the summer, so instead of rushing around for school, she could get ready for tonight's big event. Her 16th birthday party.
She had her dress, shoes, makeup all laid out in her room. She still has to dress up the party hall. Great.
There were gonna be 70 people turning up, so it had to be perfect.
But all she has on her mind is what that text meant.
' Your sweet 16th may turn sour' ran through her mind all day.
