As he turned the key to enter his apartment he looked at his watch "shit" he thought to him self "I'm late" as he slowly enters the hall as quietly as he can and silently closing it behind him then starts taking his jacket off in the proses, making his way silently down the hall he can hear his friends voice as he reached the living room he peers round the corner to see Beth sitting no the sofa reading a book to his daughter who was on her lap both of them engrossed in the book. As he walks in no body spots him so he quietly sneaks to his room, he reaches for the Handle but suddenly he hears fast foot steps behind him "daddy daddy" he hears getting louder.
"Hello pumpkin, it's past your bed time?" he says smiling half joking turning around and picking her up, the young girl pulls him in for a hug "your late daddy I was scared"
"Im sorry shiro, I didn't mean to worry you. But it's time for bed" he says squeezes her then put her down by her bed room door "give me five minutes and I'll come and tuck you in, I need to say by to Beth" Looking at shiro then opens her door and turns the light on.
"Okey" as she walks to her bed side table and takes her hearing aid out and puts it on the side and gets in to bed.
When he see she's in bed he smiles at her and turns towards and walks to Beth standing by the sofa with her shoes and jacket on "someone's eager to leave, I hope she wasn't a pain"
"No she was fine, I'm just late to see Georgia" checking her phone frantically which had been off to stop it interfering with shiros hearing aid.
"Sorry my dear that was my fault traffic" he says hugging her
"Nah it's fine I love spending time with your daughter chuck she's a lot like you in a good way" pulling back from the hug she notice shiro peering round her doorway waving, she waves back and signs 'good night, sweet dreams' then smiles and turns to the front door
Chuck sees what Beth sighs and turns quickly to catch the little girl out but she was to fast and just hears laughing emanating from shiros room he smiles and turns to walk Beth to the front door but she was already there with it open
"I've got to go, sorry" she said walking out
"Have a safe trip and text me when you're home so I know you get back fine" he says closing the door and locking it. He turned around then heads to his shiro's room to tuck her in as he gets to her door he sees her in bed giggling peering over her duvet her white hair which she inherited from her mother covering one of her sky blue eyes which she inherited from me. 'Have you done your teeth' he sighs to her,
She pulls her heads out from under the duvet and gives him a thumbs up to him. He walks over to her and sits on the side of the bed kisses her forehead then moves the hair covering her eye behind her ear he smiles to himself sighs 'love you goodnight' then turns her side light off gets up and leaves the room closing the door behind him.
Fifteen minutes later he slumps on the sofa and looks to the book case to three pictures,on the left in a white frame is a woman with beautiful white flowing hair with a hair band with white roses in it wearing a beautiful dress next to her is a man about the same height with short blond hair going everywhere wearing a suit they both look so happy under the picture it says,

After a phew minutes Chuck gets up walks over to the bookcase and picks up the picture in the middle "I miss you so much" he says under his breath, "she looks more and more like you every day" he puts the picture down and looks across the room to a mirror and sees a man with long blonde hair in a ponytail looking blankly at himself a shell of a man he once was.
